Night Owls #37

Hello :)

I just wanted to get a new thread started! I will be back in a few minutes to post :)

Tara :smug:

Tara 03-05-2002 09:55 AM

This was posted by Julie this morning on thread #36 - I didn't want you all to miss it!!

Hey Bren,

It sure must be hard for you not to yell at your daughter and tell her to get her butt to the doctor. She doesn't realize how important early pre-natal care is. Bug her if you must :(

This has actually been the warmest winter with the least amount of snow for Wisconsin. The ski hills had to make their own snow just to get people
there. Now I'm sure that we will have snow through June :)

Not sure how many of you go to a WW meeting, but this weeks topic is wonderful. I did my first meeting last night and the members really got into
it. Meetin topic: Persistence. How many of you feel you are persistent with your weight loss efforts?

You all have a great day.

Julie

Punky 03-05-2002 11:02 AM

Hi There,

PJ, thanks for being such a good friend, you are always there for me. Actually I threatened to go down there. I said to her, do I have to come down there and take you to the doctor, she said no. I said well I will do that for you if it will help but she won't budge.

Julie, believe me I didn't yell at here but I gave it to her with both barrels. I let her know that I am disappointed in her and worried. I told her if this is the way she is taking care of the baby now, I am afraid how she will care for it after. I said if she does this after the birth, the child will be taken away from her. She just DOESN'T GET IT!! I can't do anything to budge her so I am backing off before it causes us not to speak anymore.

Judygal, where are you girlfriend?? Ditto for Emmy.

See Ya
Bren

Hello again :)

Its been busy here today - but that is good - keeps me out of trouble! Being busy makes me not snack as much either - another good thing!!

I have had a really good OP week - I am hoping for a good loss tomorrow nite at WW. Wish me luck!

Julie - I am going to love topic this week - since I am very persistent with my weight loss efforts. I try to be anyway! Now if my body would just LET GO of some fat I would be all set!!

Did I tell you all I started working out again? Small steps is all I am taking at this point - but I have the Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds tapes and I am doing the 1 mile. My goal is 3-4x a week. I have done it twice this week and will do it tonite.

Gotta run my sister is on the phone....

Tara :D

MichelleK 03-05-2002 07:28 PM

BOO!

Just thought I would pop in and scare you all!

I've been lurking occassionally....but not posting...been eating out of control and bustin' the old jeans!

I got layed off from work a few weeks ago....I am working a temporary job right now but that will end this week. I think I will just collect for a bit and take my time looking for something else. The good thing is now I will be able to get out there and walk and do my exercise. Its tough when you work and have to take care of a family...the time flies by and before you know it it is time for bed!

Maybe I will be able to rejoin WW again during the day.

Ok I babbled enough for now...I will have to go back and read the threads to catch up on everyone. I like the idea of having Julie here so we can get the info on the meetings when we can't attend...and to have the support!

Has anyone heard from Setina?

Catch up to you all later!

Michelle

Hello,

I would like to join your group. I was a member about 2 years ago. I cannot remember my user name. I am a single mom in NJ. I am a second year nursing student. I graduate in May. I am joining WW on Wednesday. I am 180????lbs. I started the nursing program at around 160lbs. I will be starting yoga at the local YMCA on Friday. The kids (I have two, Seth and Sarah) have swim lessons on Tuesday and Wednesday for 1/2 hour each. While they are at their lesson my plan is to walk on the treadmill for twenty minutes.

I will be honest. I may not be able to post everyday. I am aiming at everyother day. I think that is managable. I hope to get to know you all very well. I remember the group to be a very friendly group will a lot of support for one another.

Thank You,
Sheila

SJR 03-06-2002 06:41 AM

Hi all,

Thank you all for the great welcome. Yes, Tara, I did post on the 199 thread. I think I started on the 250 thread and worked my way down. In 1999, those threads were booming, but have dwindled (or at least when I was on them :( ). I don't always have a whole lot to say, but I love reading everyone else's posts and ideas.

I had a stomach bug on Monday. Started the whole vomiting, etc. thing at 1am Monday morning and had my last visit to the bathroom at 6pm that night. Sure cleaned out my system!! Should help on the scales tonight, but not sure that's the way I would want to lose every week. You'd think after 9 months of morning sickness for both of my kids, it would be second nature to me, NOT!!!! Am feeling better today, but still not wanting a lot in my stomach.

Tara - I live about 2 1/2 hours from Boston. Well, sometimes only 2 hours if my hubby drives :o .

Have to get dressed for work. Will check in after my meeting tonight.

Sheri

Tara 03-06-2002 11:20 AM

Hello :) Just peeking in while I have a minute.

We have a few posts at the end of #36 from today - you all might want to go and check out.

I have to run - but i will be back!

Tara :o

PJ 03-06-2002 04:05 PM

Hey Bren - Expect a call from me tonight. K? You too Setina...see ya later. Sorry, can't help it. :D

weightwatcher 03-07-2002 06:47 AM

Hey Tara, thanks for keeping me updated on this new thread....ya know me and computers:) I too love the Leslie Sansone tapes but what I have found, about a year ago is the Body Flex exercise. Now I have to tell you all, it is rather strange and I don't do it when the family is around, but the inches really do come off. I was able to tell in just a few weeks after starting.

Pamela- good to hear that you are persistent. When it comes to our weight loss, we need to be persistent with many things so that the weight comes off. It take a while but sooner or later.....

Bren- Maybe your daughter will come around. Does she want to be pregnant? Is she happy about it? Boy I wish I could talk to her or AT HER.

Michelle- Sometimes we all get that eating out of control thing, it happens sometimes to me also. What we need to do is learn the self-talk method. When we are in our eating binging mode, we have to stop and ask ourselves, are we hungry, or what is eating at us? We need to learn all over again when our body needs nutrition and when we are eating just because. Not an easy thing to do I agree, but talking to ourselves really works. Next time this happens say HALT to yourself. A few weeks ago I had members write this down and told them to put it where the fun food is kept. When they see this, it will make them think twice about over-eating.

Sheila - Welcome to the group. That is ok if you don't post everyday, we will love to hear from you.

Ok so I have blabed on and on here, better let you go.

Julie

SJR 03-07-2002 06:52 AM

Well, as predicted, the stomach bug worked wonders and I was down 3.6lbs last night. Now I just need to behave this week, journal, and get in some exercise, and hopefully keep it off! :)

Setina - where are you?? you said you'd come back and post!! Missed you too.

Julie - I loved the meeting last night. It really hit home. Guess after almost 4 years at working on this I must be persistent (just not always effective!. ) Our leader also gave us a daily journal checklist that I haven't seen before. Am going to try and shrink it on the copier so it is the size of my journal and work on it each week.

Well, off to work.

Hope everyone has a super day.
Sheri

Candicej 03-07-2002 08:20 AM

Got a cat bite on my finger and it is very painful to type or do anything with it! Long story..........

Hi Sheri and Shelia....newbies I think?

Eating ok..been baking again..those WW turtle cookies(2pts) are Yummmmmmmmmmmmy!:) DH loves them..good thing it only makes 24! I was shopping last week after my Dr. appt and was hungry and didn't want to stop for food so I dug into my groceries and had a 2 pt sandwich and a v-8!....and of course my water! I found some high fiber 1 pt whole wheat buns...Kroger brand!

Hi Julie, SueBee, pj, Tara,Bren, Setina, Michelle and Michelle we do have two here now right? Anyone hear from Susan?

Candicej 03-07-2002 08:22 AM

Why won't this site let you use gif attachements anymore??????????

Punky 03-07-2002 11:13 AM

Hi There!!

How is everyone doing? I am still a bit off track but working on getting back on program. I can't believe I fell off, I was doing so well staying on program, 0h well happens to the best of us.

Candice, I don't know why you can't use gif files anymore here, I haven't tried. I will do a post to Suzanne in the moderator forum and see what is going on.

Tara, hi there girl, what you been up to?

Sheri, wow girl you are really doing great. I am sorry that you got sick though but glad you are feeling better.

Hi Julie, yes she wants the baby even though it wasn't planned, she is just pig-headed and just doesn't have a clue. I hope she can handle being a mom. I have my doubts. I think grammy will have to come to the rescue quite often.

PJ, I didn't hear from you last night. I will be home tonight though, after 7 or so but tomorrow night I will be out with Steve. Just call when you get a chance. Sunday I will be home on and off.

Sheila, hi there!! Glad to have you in the nest. Don't worry about how often you can post, just come when you can. I disappear from time to time but always know where home is. Anyway, welcome

Julie, hi there! I know you are having a hard time, so am I. Just try to take it one step at a time and it should slowly fall into place. You can do it!!

Well back to work.

Later
Bren

Tara 03-07-2002 03:29 PM

Just a quick post......(I am so busy here!)

We can't add attachments for the time being. Suzanne had a thread all about it up at the top in the News forum (whatever its called). Go check it out! That function will be back :)

(us moderators can still do it though - for some reason)

I will be back when I have some extra time to post more!

Tara :)

dragonfly32 03-07-2002 03:51 PM

Thanks

Thanks for the welcome. I really appreciate it. I did not join WW on Wednesday because my entire family is sick. Next Wednesday for sure. I will pop in tomarrow to let you all know how my new yoga class went. I am excited.

Sheila

Punky 03-07-2002 04:13 PM

Hi Sheila,

I am sorry your family is sick, that time of year I guess. I hope everyone feels better soon, I will look forward to getting to know you.

Bren

weightwatcher 03-08-2002 07:11 AM

Hi and happy TGIF!!!

Well we really got hit with an ice storm and thunder last night. Our schools are closed too. Guess I will have to call and cancel my dental appointment. It is in Green Bay and that is just to far to drive on icy roads.

Sheri: I'm glad that you liked the meeting. This persistence thing is so important. The one thing I have to do everyday is exercise. I can't do it only 3 times a week and then start up again.

Candice: sorry to hear about the cat bite:( I also copied that turtle cookie recipe. I plan on making them myself. This week I made a banana bread recipe that Tara gave me and I also made it for my WW members. OK, I know that I'm not supposed to bring treats to the meetings but sometimes they need a treat after weighing in.;) Plus that gives them an idea of how it tastes and if they like it they can make it and know exactly how it fits on their program.

Bren: Getting back on plan is a wonderful thing. We are all behind you! Remember to start slowly and be persistent with everything that you do. I tell the members that they wouldn't think of getting up in the morning and going to work without combing their hair or brushing their teeth, so why not be more careful about the things they put in their mouth, weighing and measuring, exercise.......

Everyone, have an excellent day.

Julie

THE CONTROL CENTER OF YOUR LIFE IS YOUR ATTITUDE:)

judygal 03-09-2002 11:06 AM

Hi everyone. Sorry for being so "absent". No real excuse that would make me come out looking good, so I won't try. It's nice to read how you are all doing. Bren, I'm really glad to hear about Janessa making you a grannie. I sure hope she gets into an OB/GNY soon.

I've been really crazed and can't wait until spring break the last week of March. I've had a really good school year so far. My kids are growing up (Mike is 19 and home from college on spring break and Matt will be 10 next week). Steve is still struggling with his Multiple Sclerosis and disability issues. We are involved in legal battles to get that all fixed. My resistance is down and I catch every germ that comes through my school, so I've been sick a bunch since January, using up almost all my sick days. We haven't had a single snow day, either.

I hope to stay in better touch here. In the meantime, it's just very good to read all your posts.

weightwatcher 03-09-2002 02:59 PM

Well not only did we get an ice storm, but we also have been without power for about 4 hours. Boy, that was hard, no coffee or computer to start my day off:)

Hope you are all having a safe and great on program weekend.

Julie

Candicej 03-10-2002 05:17 AM

No ice here but terrible winds and thunderstorms! Some damage too!

Those turtle cookies pulled off a crown..so I had to make an ermergency trip to the dentist! 111.00 for a few minutes of his time!@Cemented it again and will use a stronger one next time..so why didn't he use it the first time?????????

Julie..does this really take off points?

A study in the Journal of The American Dietetic Association* has good news for
beef eaters. Nutrition researchers found that a simple rinsing process reduced
the fat content of cooked ground beef crumbles by as much as 50 percent.
And, blotting can be used to reduce the fat content of cooked burgers,
meatballs and meatloaf.
So whether you buy ground beef for taste, convenience or price, you also can
enjoy the health benefits of lower-fat ground beef with a few easy steps. See

Ground Beef
Tips & Other Info

One pound of lean ground beef equals 2 1/2 cups of cooked ground beef.

Keep your freezer stocked with already browned ground beef for even quicker
weekday meal preparation. Just brown it, drain, and seal in small freezer bags in
one pound amounts.

When cooking large quantities of ground beef, try boiling it instead of browning
it. Use a large pot of boiling water, crumble in beef, stir frequently. Not only is
this an easier way to cook ground beef, it also removes practically all the fat
(which is now in the water, so degrease the water before dumping it down the
drain). This method doesn't work with ground turkey.

Well the storm has stopped but now it is super windy out. The flags at the rescue squad building are standing straight out. Feels cold too.

Candice: Seems to me that I have heard this before about blotting beef. I have done it for sometime myself. You really don't lose any taste but you will lose some of the fat when you blot it away. So why not give it a try.

Wow, didn't know that those turtle cookies would cost so much (losing that crown). I will be really careful when I make them. They just sound so good.

Hope you all have a great day.

PJ 03-10-2002 09:17 AM

~Good Morning~

Haven't been here as often as I'd like but I've been here nonetheless. I really miss you guys when I don't "check in". ;)

Julie - It's so hard for me to imagine an ice storm right now. I'm not trying to brag either......but it's been beautiful here in Florida.....you should all come down and we'll have a NIGHT OWLS hoot!!!! Glad you got your power back. I remember many, many times when we had lost our power in Long Island due to ice or whatever. That's one of the main reasons we had a fireplace. If we lost power......we would close the doors to the other rooms or hang sheets up to cover the entry way to other rooms and stay in the room where the fireplace was.....had to keep a small crack open in one of the windows though so we wouldn't get exfixiated (sp?). Anyway, we had a sleeper sofa and had only Jackie at the time.....we'd snuggle under two down comforters and Bill and I would take turns keeping the fire going. Thinking back....it was kind of neat and it got TOO hot at one point. :o Anyway, glad you got your power back and everyone is O.K. ............Sure wish you were MY WW leader. ;)

Judy - Always wonderful to "see" you in here. I hope you get those insurance issues resolved with Steve's insurance. I didn't realize your other son was 10. Billy turned 7 this past Tuesday, March 5th and Jackie will be 14!!!!!!! July 26th. Now THAT freaks me out. I still can't believe it was 15 years ago that I was pregnant with her. AAAAGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! They grow sooo fast, don't they? "See" ya later and I hope the rest of this school year goes quickly for you so you can get rid of the "cooties" you keep catching and build your immune system back up. You need to spend some time with me and lounge out in the sun to dry it all up. You KNOW you're welcome anytime, right??? Heh-heh. Hint, hint.

Hey Candice - I've got to have THREE root canals. I was shocked. I use the ORAL B toothbrush, I floss AND use the waterpick. They tell me it's from all of the meds I was taking last year and the year before. Prior to that, I had GREAT teeth. This ticks me off big time! Thank God for insurance, even though I'll still have to pay 20%. I also lost a cap a couple of weeks ago and am having it replaced this week. After all the major work is done, I'm having all of my teeth bonded so they're nice and white again and will prevent any further "trouble". Hope it's worth it because it will cost me a small fortune and is NOT covered by insurance. YIKES!

A big WELCOME to you Sheila - You'll find many good people here. Hope everyone is on the mend in your house. Hard to be Mom AND doctor at the same time. Hope you're well enough to take care of them all. Again, welcome and I look forward to seeing your posts.

Hi there to Brenda and Tara and some of you missing owls

Punky 03-10-2002 02:54 PM

Hi Everyone,

Wow, what a nice weekend it has been here. It was in the 60's yesterday and the 50's today, got lots of yard work done. Steve and I went out to dinner and to see 40 days and 40 nights at the movies on Friday. It was fun.

Candice, thanks for sharing the info on the beef, very interesting. It is good to know that just rinsing can make so much of a difference and I am sure it doesn't affect the flavor that much.

Julie, you should have seen the ice-storm we had in Maine and Canada about 3 years ago. Over 400,000 people lost electricity. I was right in the middle of it. We didn't have electricity for 13 days and some people had to go 3to 4 weeks. We had a woodstove and our neighbor had gravity fed water so we were okay and didn't have to go to a shelter but lots of people did. About 3 days into it we decided to buy a generator and went to home depot, we were #521 in line and weren't allowed to leave and come back. We would have had to sleep there, No Way!! They said they had trucks coming up from Mass and New Hampshire but we just said the heck with it and went home. By day 3 you couldn't get batteries, lamp oil, oil lamps etc... anywhere in the state. It was awful but kind of fun too. I was on the treadmill when the electricity went out I was running at 4mph and it just stopped, sent me flying off the back, thank god I didn't get hurt, very lucky. After the electricity came back on I plugged the treadmill in and it had blown the computer in it. Well anyway, I understand how bad ice-storms can be and hope you didn't suffer much damage.

JudyGal, I am so happy to hear from you. I have been worried about you guys. I hope Steve is doing okay. Wow that is a bummer that you are getting sick so much. Well keep your chin up, spring is just around the corner. Take Care.

PJ, Wow, isn't it amazing how fast the kids grow? Brianna is allready starting to get boy crazy and she is only 9 years old. I just signed them up for softball, they should start practice in a couple weeks. I have volunteered to be assistant coach.

See Ya Everyone.

Bren

Hi Owls,

Sorry I have been MIA and didn't get back to catch up and post. I was in yet another accident. Another idiot rear ended me. Luckily no real damage or injuires. I must have a "please hit me" sign on my rear end :dizzy: I have a busy week this week getting paperwork together for insurance etc so I may not get back til the weekend. Hope you all have a great week!
Setina

weightwatcher 03-11-2002 06:50 AM

Well Happy Monday,

Sounds like the ice storms that you ladies had was much worse than what we had here. I'm just glad that is over with.

PJ, now that would be fun if we could all get together in Florida. I have met an e-mail friend down near Orlando when we went to Disney World. We have been e-mailing each other for about 5 years. I have also met another e-mail friend, she works for WW in Minnesota and we got together last summer. Maybe some day we could all get together;)

Setina, sorry to hear about the accident, just glad to hear that no one was hurt. I have been very lucky with all the traveling that I do that I haven't had one.

Better get a move on here. I work at the flower shop this morning and then off to do my WW meeting tonight.

Have a good one,
Julie

Candicej 03-12-2002 06:26 AM

This site is not working right! They are cutting back on what we can do, due to expense and I keep losing stuff. You can't post gif's any more and your pics have to be smaller and you can't change your custom avatar!

My finger seems to be doing better but I hurt my upper arm elbow and shin today cleaning the cats room in the basemnet, they are such pigs!! I'm such a clutz, all brusied and lumped up!

Oprah was so good today..what a trooper that gal was( WWT center burn victim). Real tear jerker! :(:

I lost a half pound and wasn't trying so I ate some M&M's!

My sons BD dinner is Wed so I have been banking points..I'm, making a pork roast with gravy and mashed potatoes..his request and we will ahve a DQ cake! (need to get it out of the freezer)

Dh is still sick and the doc was too busy to see him last week so he went to the emergency care clinic and they said it was a cold, gave him some nose drops and and a decongestant and now he has a temp and an ear ache to boot! WE think it is sinus but they won't listen to us! Stupid docs!!!!!!!!

I only use ground sirloin usually and if I do use cheaper meat I rinse it..I was just wondering if this actually lowerd the points or if we should still count them the same.

PJ 03-12-2002 12:13 PM

Hi there

Just a quickie from me today.
Bill's father died last night so he flew to Pa. today. I'm looking for the soonest flight out of here for the kids and I and we'll join him as soon as possible. His Father has been very ill and it's not a surprise but I must say that it's hard nonetheless. You THINK you're prepared and then realize it's SO FINAL and that he's really gone. This is my husbands father......my children's Grandfather and he was only 69! Too young too die. Anyway, just wanted to let you all know that I might not be around for a while.....and then again....I might be stuck here tonight and be online anyway. We'll have to wait and see.....I'm still waiting to hear from Bill as to which credit card to put the tickets on. Atleast he'll be there with his two brothers and his Mother.

*quick note*...... I boiled my chopped meat last night that I was using for spaghetti sauce and I have to say.....it cooked MUCH faster and I didn't miss any flavor at all......either did Bill or the kids........so what the heck. I'm boiling for now on when it comes to chopped meat. ;)

Gotta go..........."See" you all soon.

Tara 03-12-2002 01:22 PM

I only have a minute...

PJ - I am so sorry to hear about Bills dad passing away! {{{HUG}}} I hope you get a flight out soon. My prayers are with you guys!

I will be back in a bit -- someone needs me!

Tara:joker:

SJR 03-12-2002 09:02 PM

Hi all,

First off, to PJ, sorry to hear about your father-in-law. Sending my condolences to you and your family.

Not much new here. I think my nice loss last week was just a result of being sick and not eating for two days. The scales say I am back to my "normal" weight, although it is TOM, so maybe I didn't gain it all back. It used to be so easy   . Wish I could get back into my losing frame of mind. Oh well, will just keep plugging along, as long as I don't gain more back.

Setina - what is up with you girl!!! If it's not the migraines, it is accidents. Someone up there needs to give you a rest for awhile!! Hopefully all is well! How did the house viewing go?

The weather here is yucky. Wish it would either snow or warm up. All we have now is frozen mud in the AM and sloppy mud in the afternoon. Last year at this time we were getting our 3rd 3'+ dumping of snow. Of course, my hubby jinxed the snow this year, cuz he went out and bought a snowmobile. No snow for us!! Guess the maple sugarers are liking our weather though.

Well, should get off this thing.

Talk to you all soon.

Sheri

PJ 03-12-2002 11:20 PM

Thanks Tara and Sheri

I was able to get our tickets at $200. per person for each round trip ticket. Took me about 3 hours on priceline.com but it was worth it. There are three of us flying so I needed to be thrifty since Bill has been using his frequent flier miles to fly alot of our family up there. I saved %59 !!!! We'll be leaving tomorrow around 2pm (with one stop over) and arriving in Pa. about 6pm ..... then returning on Sat. afternoon. The viewing is Thursday and the services are Friday. My Father is also flying up and meeting us. It all seems so surreal right now. I suppose it hasn't really hit me yet and probably wont until I get there.
Went out tonight to find a nice sweater for Jackie and some dress pants for Billy but decided that I can put him in his good jeans, some sneakers and a nice shirt and jacket. (Li'l Billy will be at the funeral service only and not the viewing). It's going to be cold so he'll probably be borrowing one of his cousins winter coats again like last time. Jackie will have to "wing it"......she's got so many clothes and although she doesn't have a dressy pair of pants......we can find something up there.....hopefully. Two of her cousins that are about the same age as her will be there also so they'll probably all go together to find something. Anyway, just thought I'd let you all know I'm not outta here yet and am very, very tired. I was OFF program today. Had chips, root beer (no, not diet either  ), some McD's Fries and a fish sandwich. TALK ABOUT BLOWING IT ALL IN ONE DAY !!!!!!!! I just didn't care......not one bit. So I'm hoping I'll "snap out of it" by the time I wake up tomorrow morning.
I'll see you all soon.

Good morning.

Pamela: I always look forward to reading your posts, but was very saddened to read this morning about Bill's father. Our thoughts are with you. I'm sure it will be a difficult time for you and the kids while you're up there. Give Bill our regards.

Thinking of you at this difficult time.

Sue, Rob and Scotty.

Hello and Happy Hump day!!!!

Our weather here in Wisconsin yesterday was beautiful. Warm and sunny and lots of the ice and snow melted, you know the stuff we were pelted with on Friday and Sat.

Candice: Sorry to hear that you are bumped and bruised up. Cleaning up after those cats can really do a person in:)

Now, congratulations on the 1/2 pound weight loss, but then you celebrated with M&M's:lol: I remember I used to do the same, now I just go and buy something really nice, like jewelry or clothes. Hope your husband will start feeling better soon.

I don't lower the points when I rinse my meat off, I just know that I'm taking some of the fat away, not sure what the point value of that would be.

PJ: I'm so sorry to hear about your father-in-law. Even when you know this will happen, it is still hard to take. He was very young. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Sheri: Ah yes, the time of the month, doesn't that get you mad that we can gain 3-5 pounds of water weight during this time? Just don't get on the scale until you are done. Even though I know better, it still gets me down when I see that I'm up.

Hope you all have a great day.

Julie

~Good Morning~

I've been up for quite a while so I decided to visit my "buds" here on the night owls. I'm just about done with packing.....just waiting for Jackie to take her shower to I can put her toiletries in my suitcase. We're out of here at 11:15am to head to the airport. (West Palm Beach).

SueBee and Julie - Thanks........it's funny......I hadn't realized how much what you all say here means to me. When I read your posts, tears welled up in my eyes. Words mean alot and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. That's all I wanted to say..........oh yeah........and that I love you guys!

I'll "see" you on Sunday. We're not coming back on Saturday......I misread my itinerary. Just as well, gives me more time with my relatives and mother-in-law. Wish me luck on that small prop plane. :D

Hi,

PJ I know you won't read this until you get home but we will be looking forward to hearing from you. I know everything will go well with that prop plane:)

I hope that everyone has a great day. Just like what we have been talking about in the meeting room this week....this is a great place for support and no one tries to sabbotage you.

Well we are supposed to get another 6 inches of snow, that ought to be fun for me driving around to my meetings, NOT:^:

Take care,

Julie
