Talking Weekending...

Hi Guys! Just popping in briefly to wish you all a very very very HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a sad Christmas this year - my cat died just before, then my sister's boyfriend went back to Israel, then 2 days after Christmas, Blokey's Grandma died very suddenly. So, everything's been a bit strange. In between though, we've managed to have some nice moments, and spend time with most of our family, so it hasn't been all terrible.

We're still at my parents' place near London until tomorrow, then we have a couple of days at home, then the funeral is on Wednesday, so we'll be with Blokey's parents for a couple of days. New Year's resolutions? To start looking after ourselves again - we have been eating like pigs and doing no exercise. BUT! I went to the sales today and got some jogging trousers, so now I HAVE to start running again... WATCH THIS SPACE (and nag me if I don't mention it again...).

hope everyone has a good one,
hugs,
Lxxx

Angry I'm home!

Hi all!

How is everyone! We returned home last night after a hectic week home. Between all of the people we had to see we put on a ton of kilometres! Plus we ate and ate! I'm scared to weigh myself! I'm glad to be home where I can control what Iput in my mouth a little better. All in all it was a good break. The only bad stuff was my brother that has Bipolar (manic depression) went a little crazy and is going to admit himself for some treatment and proper medication this week. It will be good for him to get some help-his current psychiatrist is paid by the government and doesn't make any contact with him so he'll go for months without seeing her. Anyway it should be good-hopefully a little stress relief for the rest of us. My only fear is that becaseu he is committing himself he is allowed to leave any time he wants to whether he is better or not. If we committed him he would have to stay until they thought he was ready. Oh well.. Anyway I'm back. I'm motivated to get back on track. We have a ton of baking and stuff that our grandmas sent home with us but I'm going to avoid it the best I can. So now that Christmas is over I am motivated again to work on wedding plans. I was hoping to get some stuff accomplished on my holiday but it didn't happen. How were all of your holidays?

Lolly-sorry to hear you had some sad times on your holiday. My condolences. Glad to hear you're motivated for the new year. We'll keep our ears open about your jogging.

Congrats Trish! So exciting! Glad to hear you're both healthy!

Hi everyone else! Can't wait to hear from you all! I tried posting a picture of me when I was at my Dad's ont he break but I couldn't shrink it any smaller than 48kb so it wouldn't let me post it! Argh! I'll figure something out. I'm hoping that my DF will buy me a scanner for my birthday this month. Anyway hope to hear from you all soon!

Take care!
