It's too quiet around here!!!

How is everyone doing? You must be real busy not to be posting.
I was so lazy yesterday.

I'm going to weigh in tonight with Larry. Wish me luck! I got on my scales this morning and I "should" have a 1 pound loss tonight. Keep your fingers crossed.

Okay, I'm doing housework today. I've already washed a load of clothes; have the oven ready to pop in some chicken breasts to bake; going to wash my hair; and will cut out material for another jacket [this one is a Christmas gift].

It is quiet! I don't even remember last night, so I don't know if I was on the computer or not!!

Tim is at basketball conditioning. I need to pick him up in 25 minutes. They find out Thursday who is on the team.

How did weigh-in go Tina?

My doctor has me checking my BP almost daily. It has been so high lately. Possibly going on medication if it doesn't come down SOON! I don't know why it is up so high.

It has been quiet ! I'm actually awake at this time. Normally I fall asleep on the couch during the evening.

Hey guess what, I walked around the pasture with my dog. (Well, part of the pasture.) We need to mow around the fence so I can walk without being in tall grass.

I go weigh in the morning. Hope I did something too!

Tammy, I have high blood pressure too. Believe me, I can now tell when it goes up. I'm on meds. and have been for about 2 years.

Hey group.
I went to the Doc today....thinking I would get a cortisone shot for my foot...but he didnt think that was the way to go. He wants me to do sonogram therapy..or something like that....twice a week. Unfortunately...that would mean missing work to go to the Dr Office, and paying for each visit....which I dont want to do :) So at this point Im not sure what I'll do about the foot... but definately no surgery!!! Owwwwchy.

Susan how big is your pasture that you walk in? Sounds like you had a good walk.

Tammy, hope everything turns out ok with your BP, and you dont have to go on meds...... Did you ever decide which Birks to order? I have a friend at work that thinks those are the greatest shoes.

Weren't you the domesticated one the other night Tina ;) cooking and sewing!! My idea of cooking is pop it in the micro!!

That little light on the dash board that says "Check Engine" came on this afternoon. We don't know why. Larry is going to drop the car off on his way to work in the morning.
Sooo..... we didn't want to drive it anywhere tonight.

Dee, yes, I feel very domestic now. I haven't gotten to cook much in so long. It's fun getting to buy "real" veggies and cook them. :lol:

Dee, sorry about the bone spur. Hopefully you will be able to go and get the therapy! but I know that it is expensive....

Tina, you are doing so much! Are you having fun?

I went to a workshop and ended up talking to the principal at the high schoo. My buddy works there.... they will be looking for a sign language teacher next year. :) He would like for me to come there! It would mean giving up my special ed. position but I'm real frustrated right now with it. that's enough of that.

I'm gonna do some Christmas shopping on line tonight.

Susan, the wild child has really come around. Still has some problems, but big improvement. The dad seems to be trying to make her more responsible also. That helps!

Well, Tim made the 8th grade basketball team. He said that he knows he'll get splinters in his behind sitting on the bench, but that's OK. I'm happy for him.

I am so glad that it is the weekend. Conferences were yesterday after school. Our very first one was awful! The mother yelled at us and wouldn't let us get in to even make comments. The poor little girl was sitting there. She has all A's and B's. All the mom was concerned about was that she didn't get full credit on a homework paper that she turned in a day late. I took off 10%. A to an A-. Not that big of a deal, but the mom was totally spazzed out about it. Then she called the principal this morning and basically said that it was all my fault. He was siding with her, and not believing my side of the story. Glad the little girl and my team teacher were there as witnesses!!!!
