Nutrition Kitchen whole soybean pasta made from black soybeans.
Positives - Cooked fast (5 minutes)
- Big serving (compared to regular pasta), 200 calories of this stuff was much bigger than 200 calories of regular pasta
- High protein - 22 grams per serving
- High fiber - 11 grams per serving
- High iron - 70% of RDA
Negatives - Kinda weird tasting
- Rubbery
- Visually distracting (gray)
All in all - a very interesting experiment! It definitely won't top my list of pasta substitutes, but not too bad.
