Talking Forum Wide Weigh-In!

I am excited about this as this is my first month with a food diary, first month of trying to eat better in a long time, first month hubby is away the whole time and I have to fight stress eating. Oh, and it will be my first month on PUSH, just waiting for my first DVD to get here. I am working on my water intake, adding Super Foods, and counting cals. So much change, but all the baby steps way. I am so happy about it, this site, the ladies here. -happy sigh-

I might not lose very much this month, it will be a challenge more so with hubby not home, but I am so thrilled to be finally doing this and not feeling like it is a diet I can not live with. I can do this! The feeling of hope is amazing for this fat chick.

Blessings,
Kontessa

Those are amazing first changes! They key to doing changes for life is making small goals, master them, then add more challenges and goals and finding SUPPORT! The food diary will help you have some control. it's actually fun. Welcome new fat chick!

Default I know

I know it sounds like a lot of change but it really isn't.

A little more water a day. Add some super foods, journal the things I eat, and soon PUSH. The PUSH part might be hard, but I will go slow with that too.

I just can not stop being happy about this. It does not seem impossible as other diets have. It seems..... smooth. LOL And when I have panic moments then I will come here and be talked into taking a walk and not eating what I do not need. LOL

Tis ok! Really!

I think I know what you mean. "Diets" can be so complicated sometimes, then we feel pressured into living by strict guidelines. Maybe all we ever needed was just to make a few small changes here and there. Then more changes naturally follow. It's not a diet, it's just living better

Kontessa, congrats on taking the first steps to a healthier life! We all are here for each other and it's a great feeling to know that I can check in here and be supported this much!

You are so close to One-derland! Once you get there, that'll be great motivation for you to keep this going! I know that the numbers are secondary to adopting good eating habits, but losing those 2 or so pounds will feel great! And you'll see that you did it without any stinkin' diet! And more importantly, pay very close attention to how this way of eating makes you feel!

Please stay here with us and let us know how it is going for you!

~Hope~
