It might be a good idea, especially if you eat a lot of junk. It's another way of realizing how much it is costing you---literally. For me, though, I have the opposite problem: I spend way too much money on good foods. I'm sort of a "foodie," and when I see something that is organic or all-natural even if it's a treat-type food, I'll buy it. I just came back from TJ Maxx where I bought some sort of organic banana-caramel "jelly" spread. My husband says the weirder something is the more I want it! (It tastes delicious, btw). I would shudder to think how much I spend every month on things like that!
