New Here-Just starting WW-Again

  • Hi everyone,

My name is Morgan and I am about to begin my WW journey once again. I have a 2 year old son and have been up and down with my baby weight ever since he was born. I'm now at an all time high and I just have to do this once and for all! I've had limited success on WW in the past. I always seem to hit a plateau, get discouraged, and move on. So this time, I think I'm going to start on the Wendie Plan. Hopefully that will give my body the extra "oomph" it needs to stay on track. I look forward to getting to know you all. I've always found boards like this to be super supportive in helping me get where I need to go!
  • WW For the ......time
I too am starting WW again for the ??? it's been so many times, I have lost count. I too have kids and can't seem to shake the weight either. I seem to have one number that I just can't get past, I get there and suddenly all my healthy eating and exercise take a vacation. I am determined not to let that happen again.

Good luck and stick with it!! Michelle.
  • hi guys....
ive been way off p but need to get back. i get discouraged and quit.
  • Hi all,
I am currently trying weight watchers again. I weigh 214 and have tried almost every diet out there but WW seems to work, if I stick with it,. I just do not want to start 2007 on another diet. I want 2007 to be the year that I finally stop dieting and start living. I dont want to make my new years resolution to "Loose Weight, but to maintain it"
I've just had it with dieting!!
Good Luck to you. Are you doing the Flex or Core?
  • im a corebie when im op.
  • Michelle, I'm the same way. When I hit 180, it's so darned hard to get past it. I haven't seem below 175 in years. Jazzy, I hear ya on the 2007 thing. I hope to well on my way to a healthy lifestyle by then that it becomes just my way of living and not a "diet." I'm doing the Flex Plan, can't stand the core. But this time I'm going to switch it up with the Wendie version. I'm hoping that will work, I've heard great things about it. Good luck to you all!
  • Well , here I go again , want to start ww again but I have to admit is a bit complicated keeping track of all those points, I have no choice though, health reasons. Weigh 210 want to loose at least 50
  • Good luck to all of you! I'm back op for the 2nd honest time - first time around I lost 32lbs. This time, I have 33 left to lose out of 37.
  • Hi! Just wanted to offer inspiration to us all. I started WW at the end of April
'06 knowing that I needed to change my lifestyle so that I would be a positive influence on my son and be able to keep up with him. I've tried many diets and have had a weight problem my whole life, so I know how most everyone feels. Since following the flex plan, I have lost 51 lbs and feel great. Now the next step is adding more exercise and keep up with the weightloss to reach goal. I fully admit that I can be a lazy person when it comes to diet and exercise, but if I just do it I feel better about myself. I guess the bottom line is, don't beat yourself up when you fail, get back on track with whatever plan works for YOU. Good luck to us all!
  • hi guys!
hows it goin? im on day 2 and goin strong!
  • Yea!!!!
Keep it up, even with the downs. It isn't how many times you try, because if you don't try, you will never succeed. Take the good with the bad, and just keep on picking yourself up if you fall!
  • Good Luck. I'm giving it another try. Did well a few years ago but sorta strayed off. Hoping to have better luck this time.
  • Hi, I'm just getting started as well. We have been doing a lot of remodeling in our kitchen, so we've been eating out a lot. I'm not friends with the scale, so I didn't realize I'd gained nearly 10 pounds until I weighed myself on Monday. I'm going to try Weight Watchers again. I wish you all luck. Please wish me luck too!
