Thumbs up Reimbursed for WW?

I wasn't sure where to post this, but wanted to put out an FYI!

DH was on the intranet at work last night (the inhouse internet) and found that his company will reimburse us for WW expenses if I follow certain guidelines:

~must be employee/spouse/dependent covered on insurance plan
~must have documentation of money spent (receipts, etc.)
~must have a form filled out by my leader verifying weight loss

Expenses for meetings and WW online will be reimbursed after each 10% goal is reached. Books, food, and other items not included, but it appears they will at least pay for the meetings.

I do know that many of us, me included, have contemplated the meetings and felt that they were a bit cost prohibitive. I wanted to let everyone know this in case you wanted to check with your own/spouses company to see if they do the same thing. I would have never thought of it, and he was just browsing and came across the info. In case you're wondering, DH works for THE major beer brewer in the country....I wasn't sure if I could put their name on here!

I sincerely hope this info helps someone out!

Owira, be sure to check it out! Any assistance we can get is better than nothing! And lets face it, I'm GOING to spend the money for the meeting anyway, I may as well keep track of the receipts and get some of the cash back!

gym costs? I hadn't even thought of that one!! They have top of the line onsight facilities for the employees (which very few take advantage of, go figure!) but I'm not sure about covering expenses for spouses.....I think I'll have him check it out!

My mom's (who just joined WW last week) company has something like this....they call it their Wellness Porgram. They will pay up to $50-some a month toward things like WW, gym memberships, vitamins, etc. I so wish we had something like that.
