Default Not losing weight consistantly HELP!

Hi everyone, I had a question. I have done weight watchers in the past with great success, I lost consistantly and stayed motivated until I had lost all the weight. Well, I got married and had a baby. I am back on weight watchers to get the baby weight off and I am losing weight really slowly. I have lost less than 10 lbs in over 2mo time. Does anyone have any idea why? I am not breast feeding anymore (baby is 10 mo old) I stick to my points. I feel really discouraged. Does any one have any suggestions on how to jump start this process? Thank You

A couple things. As you age, you lose weight more slowly. The closer you are to your goal weight, the slower it goes. Are you getting in all the 8 healthy standards as recommended by WW? I know when I had issues before, when I kicked in the milk requirement, I lost weight consistently.

Are you eating all your points? If not, your body can have a problem with metabolism and not regulating right. Are you getting in your fats? All of these can hinder your weight loss.

Let us know if you are doing all of the above.

I know I lose weight slowly, agonizingly slow and I just have to be patient. I didn't gain it all overnight so thus I can't lose it all overnight.

I am assuming you are exercising. That is what really kick started my weight loss. I could eat next to nothing with no exercise and lose hardly a pound a week. When i started exercising and eating more i instantly lost double that and then some.

So if you ARE exercising, then take a look at your medications. Any new birth control pills, mood stabilizers, any of those make me gain weight or at best, stay the same.

Then too, i have to second all that rose garden said. Once you are close to goal, weight loss is VERY slow.

And if all else fails, at least you are losing, even if it is slow.

I am not meeting my milk requirements daily, I guess I will have to kick it up a notch. I am eating all of my points though. As for the exercising I have yoga class twice a week, and I go to the gym four times a week for cardio/swimming. Do you think weight lifting or a personal trainer would help? I am beginning to get frustrated especially since my dh has lost 20 lbs only by eating what I set in front of him and no exercising he is already at pre baby weight. As for medication I am on none except a vitamin and a fiber supplement. Maybe I should try the wendie plan? Have you ever done it? Would it work for me? I have about 24 lbs to lose (pre baby weight) Thank you for all your help.
