Question A question...

So, I'm down to 172.8 pounds. Last week I was 174.2 and the week before was 175. It bothers me a little bit that my WW leader hasn't acknowledged the fact that I should be going down to 22 points. I thought maybe last week she didn't because technically I was still over 174 but this week she still said nothing! So, I guess I am taking it upon myself to just do it on my own.

Anyhoo, the past month or so, my weight losses have been less than in weeks before. I just took it was different weeks, different results. I also know that weight loss at the beginning phases are often higher than after being on program for a while. But now I'm wondering if could be in part that my body has gotten used to the 24 points and has begun to adjust accordingly? I've only been at 24 so my question for you guys is... does dropping to a lower point increment give the body a little jolt at all and get it going again? How has changing to a new point level affected your losses, if it has at all? Thanks for your input!

1) at meetings it is your responsibility to read the materials and know when you drop TargetPoints. Some leaders take on more than that and talk to you about it but most do not. So don't take it as anything other than the fact that is the person's responsibility to know when to drop from the materials you are given.

2) average weight loss (and this is in your materials) after the first 1-3 weeks (where you tend to have higher ones because of water loss) is .5-2 pounds a week on average.

I never dropped below 24 TPs a day even at 149.9 and still lost. Maybe because I added exercise and increased my metabolism. This is not always the case with everyone as everyone is different but I was able to still lose using 24 TPs a day, 3-5 APs a day and all 35 FPs a week until I hit goal.

BTW your cat is cute!

The following numbers are my points per day, with the last two numbers being my total points per week and my average points per day.

The first 8 weeks I was in the 26 point range and the second 5 weeks in the 24 point range. At 26 points my minimun would be 182 point per week, eating all 35 extra points would be 127. At the 24 point range, my minimun would be 168 points for week, eaint all 35 extra points would result in 203 points. So as you can see - I have gone over my Maximun points several weeks.

Weight Pts Week MAX

And then, just to be really nerdy, here is a comparison to weight loss and TOM.

-6
-1.4
-0.8 Week Before TOM
-3.2 TOM
-1.2
-2.2
0.2 Week Before TOM
-4.8 TOM
-1.8
-1.8
0.4 Week Before TOM
-2.4 TOM
-3

With all other numbers being the same, if I weigh in just before I get my period, I am guarenteed not to do well.
