Trixie pup Don't get discouraged, it's too early in your journey for that.

What you might want to do is start marking your losses/gains on a calendar and see if there is some kind of pattern. If you find you are more tempted to eat over your Points during the week or two of PMS, then you'll have to plan for that. During those weeks, bank Points or earn extra activity Points to cover your extra appetite. There is definitely a pattern to my hunger, and I always try to plan ahead.
If you fail to plan, than you plan to fail .
When the weather is hot and humid, you do need to drink much more water. I try to drink as much as I can stuff down. It makes me feel so much better and makes the heat feel less. Drink water and eat fruits to replenish your body. Remember that
the recommended 6-8 glasses of water is only a minimum recommended amount, our bodies need much more than that if we're eating too much sodium and it's hot out.
Something I have learned, and this was a VERY hard lesson to learn:
If I go over my Points, I am almost destined to have a gain. It's true! It really doesn't matter how many calories it is, mybody takes those extra cals and SUCKS them in, showing a gain. The best way to avoid this is to
stay OP.
Another thing I've learned is that in my journey to lose weight, I have no one to answer to but myself. No one is forcing me to lsoe weight. I joined Weight Watchers, no one made me. If I fail, I fail no one but myself. You have to have an accountability to yourself for the program to "click". No matter what happens, or what I eat, it is always ME stuffing the food into my mouth. I've never had anyone force feed me and then make me get on a scale! I've realized that if I can't answer to myself and look myself in the eye, then what's the point? Why even try.
Be accountable to yourself first. It's all up to you.
Most of all, remember that
Whether you think you can or you can't, you are right. Believe in yourself. When you believe in yourself and believe that you are worth it, no outside force can MAKE you over eat. You always have a choice. YOU ARE WORTH IT and YES YOU CAN DO IT.
Remember that one day on program breeds another. And if you are off-program at 10:00, you can be back OP at 10:01. It's a matter of choice, and everyone is capable of that. Most of all, take care of yourself. Good luck. Keep trying and trust that next week will be better if you make it better.
