Question WW Make-Ahead Breakfast Ideas?

Hi Everyone,

I am new to 3FC & I started Weight Watchers about 2-3 weeks ago. I didn't join, but bought the books on Ebay. I've lost about 10 lbs so far.

I am looking for some ideas from the seasoned WW veterans for fast make-ahead breakfasts. Lately I have been skipping breakfast & saving more points for dinner, but I know it would be healthier for me to eat 3 meals per day & I would probably be a lot less hungry when lunch time rolls around.

I work in an office & have a 14-Month old baby so anything I can make ahead & just grab in the morning would be great.

I always have some slim fast on hand (I can drink a can while driving to work).
I also keep a granola bar in my purse for something I can also eat while driving.
Maybe you could make a bowl of fruit salad and store it in inidiviual size tupperware containers - if you have time to eat before you leave for work.
WW muffins are good (especially the blueberry ones). They sell them at the grocery store.

It is not just healthier it actually boosts your metabolism for the day and like you said you will not be as hungry when lunch rolls around.

I actually do breakfast, midmorning snack, lunch, midafternoon snack, dinner and evening snacks.

This website http://www.cspinet.org/nah/11_99/bre...rab_n_gos.html has some great ideas for grab and go breakfasts.

My grab and go's are usually instant oatmeal, Fatfree yogurt and a banana or a peanut butter and jam sandwich on whole wheat bread. In the summer I make a fresh fruit salad and keep it in the fridge with for a quick breakfast - top with some yogurt and a tbsp of granola.

Here are some make ahead breadfast recipes from the 3fc WW recipe forum:

I like to make the pumpkin bars- can of pumpkin, 1/2 can of water, cinnamon and an angelfood cake mix. I eat a big chunk of this with FF cool whip every morning with my coffee. It feels like a sinful treat and I crave something sweet in the mornings!

Default If you bake --

I recommend making some whole-grain, low-fat or fat-free muffins. Keep them in a ziploc bag and pull one out any time you don't have time for a full breakfast. The whole grains are good for you, and the fact that it is a muffin will make you feel as if you are "cheating".

I find toasting a piece of whole wheat bread or a frozen waffle, topping it with 1 tablespoon of peanut butter and a glass of skim or soy milk is quick and easy.

I also always have some WW bars or some other ceral bar (look for ones with fiber) and I just pair that with a serving of skim or soy milk.

Is it possible you could eat at work? I try and keep some skim milk with cereal at work so that if I am running late I can eat when I get to work.
