Started tonight

Well, I finally got to my first meeting. I had to wait for payday. The leaders are really nice. It was me and 5 other people new tonight. I will be doing the flex points. It just seems easier to me. I also like to know what my limits are. I was not expecting the weight part, though. 359... Scary for me. I knew I had put on more weight but I was not expecting that. I am really going to try though. So I have 34 points a day. That will be the hard part. I don't eat alot..it's waht I eat when I do..I never exercise. I actually bought the Crunch DVD and I literally did like two minutes and was dieing. This is going to be hard. But, It needs to be done. Thank you all for such kind words and the support I really need to stay on track. :) For my height and age, I should be between 120 and 144 so I set my long term goal at 144.

starting weight: 359
1st 10 % goal: 324
long term goal: 144

Did they allow you to set a goal? When I went back to WW after years away, they told me they would determine my goal at a later time, after I'd lost some weight. I would really like to have a goal to reach for, not just in my mind -- I know what that is -- but concrete, on paper.

They set my first goal at 10% and I just put my long term goal at 144. They said we could determine that ourselves after we had lost the 1st 10%. I know where I want to be, though so that is why I set my ltg at 144. It is easier though to do it 10% at a time..I think I will do that.

YAY for starting weight watchers. I started on 1/1/06 and I'm now down 13.4 pounds. Very worth it I think.

Wow, you are doing really good. Keep up the good work :)

Debi, for easier exercize that you can stick with did you ever consider walking? Ever hear about 10,000 steps a day? Thats what they recomend. It's roughly 5 miles. Just get a pedometer (I just bought one at my last weight watchers meeting and it's easy and I love the clip it comes with!) and your set for daily exercize.
