The Fresh Market here in Raleigh now has Pirate's Booty! They had in on an end cap, and mixed in w/ it was Smart Puffs, made by the same company. The only difference it looked like to me was the PB is white cheddar, and the SP looks like a very pale orange cheddar. Is that the only difference??

I'm going to go back to Planet Smoothie to get a small bag (99 cents) before I buy a big bag at Fresh Market (2.49). I'm cheap!!! I did buy the Skinny Chips, though (1.69 a bag, 99 cents on sale). YUM! I like Barbecue the best!

is that Smart Puffs are 3pts/serving, and Pirate's Booty is 2pts/serving. I like the smaller size of the Pirate's Booty, the Smart Puffs are a little more crunchy.

Also for me, the Pirate's Booty I can get at Trader Joe's for $1.69 a bag, and for the Smart Puffs I have to go to Wild Oats, and it's $2.99 a bag!

I like the Pirate's Booty, it's light and filling and you get a lot in that 1 oz. serving.

You're talking about one of our very favorite snacks! We discovered Pirate Booty a few years ago, and love every morsel of it.

If you can find them, Personality Puffs are similar with more crunch and the same point value, and I like them better.

I love Pirates Booty as well, but sometimes I want to eat a whole bag's worth and that's 8 points!

I've found a popcorn that looks like it's only 2 points for the whole bag. Let me know if I'm wrong, please?

Health Choice - Organic looks like it's 2 points for the bag.
Orville Reddenbacher - 94% fat free also looks as if it's 2 point / bag.

Could anyone who knows, let me know if I'm correct?

I count my 94% FF popcorn as two points. I have measured out the popped kernals many times, and I usually only get 7 cups or so, which is right around 2 points!

Tracy - Thanks for saving me a point! I used to count it as 2 points and I guess I got myself confused one day when I was looking at the box and it said there were two servings per bag. Had I stopped for a minute and thought about it, I would have realized that there is no way there is 14 cups of popcorn in that bag. Duh. Should have taken the time to measure it, like you did.
I'm off to make a bag now.

Patch - I loved Lays Baked Ruffles, even better than regular chips. I've read somewhere that their fat content may have gone up, so definitely check the points. Cape Cod makes 40% reduced fat chips that are great and three points for an ounce. Terra makes a heartier lower fat chip for 3 points an ounce.

I have found that I really like the flavored rice/popcorn cakes. There are store varieties and Quaker puts out some really good ones. My favorite is Quakers Chocolate Crunch and it is only 1 point per cake plus it has little chocolate chips on top. This can help satisfy a sweets craving, a bit. Some of the other flavors are Peanut Butter, Caramel, Apple Cinnamin (haven't tried yet), White Cheddar, Buter popcorn, and salted and unsalted. It is a nice variety and I think they are all one point.

Those are really good suggestions.

In fact I used to eat a lot of the rice cakes and don't know why I got out of "practice".

The baked chips are also a teriffic alternative.
