Default Back to Basics Week 4

Good Afternoon all! Couldn't find where anyone had started the thread for this week. I had a very busy weekend and wasn't able to check in. Didn't journal like I should have. Tomorrow I will weigh-in to see how the holiday affected me. Hope everyone is doing great!

Hi Kathy.

Just got out of the hospital. I ended up gaining 1 pound but lost 6.075 inches. So I guess I can complain about the weight gain. I am sure it is swelling from the surgery that is part of the weight gain.

I did my WI this morning and stayed the same. Guess that's good since I was so bad over the weekend!

Hi Wendy - Glad you are back and hope you are doing well after your surgery. I wouldn't worry about that one pound. Congrats on loosing 6+ inches!

Ive been having a rough time with WW lately. I think it's because it's that time of the month. All I want to do is go over my points value! I weighed this morning ( I have stopped going to weigh-ins, too much $$ that I don't have) and was down 1 lb, so not awful, but I was up 2 last week, so I still need to get back down. :P

Been drinking tons of water, but I need to up my fruit and veggie intake. I've been carbing out.

Where is everybody?

Rachel - don't give up! We can get through this together! I don't go to WW meetings and WI's because we don't have a local chapter and because of the cost. I'm doing WW at home and getting my support here. I, too, have been having a rough time lately. I've been getting the exercise and drinking lots of water, but also eating over my points. I really need to start journaling better.

I was watching for a link in the last thread and never saw it. I did a search and found you here. I too have been wondering where everyone is at.

WI's have been a pain in the back side for me the past couple of weeks but I'm feeling pretty positive about tomorrow. I haven't really been writing things down which is a major no-no, but I think I've stayed pretty close to plan. I'll find out for sure tomorrow.

I have been looking at the cost as well and as soon as I'm finished with the prepaid tickets I've purchased I think I'm going to try and go it at home.

Anyone have any good quick dinner recipes that keep you on plan? My son has an 8:00 baseball game tonight and I need to get home and fix something quick that the family will eat.

Unhappy Going backwards

Well, I seem to be going backwards! WI was today and I gained a 1lb!!! UGH!!! Time to get off by b&** and get serious. Last week I started walking at lunch so hopefully that has contributed a little bit to the gain (muscle tone up and all). I've also commited to drink ALL my water. So far today I've had 2 - 20oz. bottles of water. If I can get one more in before I leave work today I'll be happy.
