  • Quote: drbjaded, Yes that is what I am saying. If you have only been eating your TPs and doing all that exercise your body thinks it is starving and holding on to the fat you have because it is in that mode.
I lose more when I eat my flex points. I spread them out over the week. I occasionally eat my AP's (2 or so out of the 4)...as I may have mismeasured something or forgotton to write something down. Just to be on the safe side. Howeve, if I am hungary..I eat ALL my Ap's...lol! I lose on the average of .3-.5 lbs. more a week when I eat more. Go figure??..makes no sense...but true!
    Good luck.
  • Tina - that does make sense It works differently for everyone....I don't always eat my 35 Flexpoints. I eat my minimum daily points and my exercise points but sometimes use my Flexpoints on the weekends for treats at the movies or a meal out. It seems to work
  • I rarely use more than 3-5 flex points on any given week. On Valentine's day, I used 29 flex points---29! That was some dinner out! And in the days that followed, my weight crept up slowly but surely. I did NOT even exhaust my weekly allowance of flex points, so it's pretty baffling that I had such an unpleasant 4-pound swing upwards. It took nearly 2 weeks of serious devotion to all things Weight Watchers to get back to my 2/13/05 weight.

I work to hit my daily allowance of points, spread out throughout the day. And I work out at least 3-4 times a week. But I don't take the activity points and eat them! My weight loss is above the average; it's about 1.8 pounds per week. I need to see the scale actually move to feel like I'm getting my rewards for living the new healthier way.
