Default Fatgirl8me, still alive and kickin harder than ever

Hey everyone,
For those of you who though I've dropped off the face of the earth, or atleast off of WW......it's quite the opposite.....been OP and working out 4-5 times a week....with the help of my new toy...a MP3 player that has an armband so it's awesome when I walk , ride bike or rollerblade. Have to say this is the first time I've sat in this seat in ages, but I have been sticking to my journaling on paper, and going to weekly meetings religiously, so all is good!!!!!
My goal is to be consistantly shopping in the 16 and under section of stores....ya know...not the "fat women's" side as I shop in and call it now. Things are getting pretty darn close. I've been putting more weight into how I feel and how things fit, instead of the dreaded three numbers on the scale!!! That has really made a difference. My next reward is going to be a treadmill...deal is if I get to size 16.....that is a 16 in every store....not just the spendy one, because we all know those sizes are a little more generous....but a true 16 by fall....then I'm getting my treadmill to walk indoors during the cold months!!! It WILL happen.!!
Well I should get going....just wanted to let y'all know I'm still alive and kicking!!!
Talk to you again soon,
Michelle

Default Bravo Michelle!

Michelle,
Good for you! It is nice to see a positive post about what IS working for you!

WE all can change and take charge our our own destiny if we want it bad enough! Sometimes people want cookies and high fat foods really more than they want the weight off! I dont mean to sound harsh.believe you me.I have been the whimpy wishy member before.................but at some point we all MUST take responsibility for our own self! I didnt ask myself if I wanted to walk a couple miles this morning..even though I am behind in important activities I need to be doing. I TOLD myself...."Go walk girl...take care of YOU first!"

So.be proud! I am proud of you and happy for you! Keep it up!

Default Thursday

Hi Michelle,

I was wondering where everyone has gone to. I've had computer problems and haven't been on so when I checked back the other day everyone was missing.

So happy about your new attitude. You are right though. Forget the scales and just concentrate on how you feel and how clothes fit. Numbers are just numbers.

I hope you get the treadmill real soon. I love using mine.

I agree. Sometimes we just have to get tough with ourselves! I moved my treadmill to the other side of the room and now the cord is too short so I gotta get on DH to extend the cord for me. Don't know why they put such short ones on there, oh wait, so clumsy people like me won't trip on them! My goal for today is get the sweating to the oldies tape out and give it try!

Have a good weekend ladies.
