On www.dottisweightlosszone.com you will find a forum called something like "where do you live? a buddy might be around the corner." Page through it far enough and you'll find some Northern Virginia folks. I'm from the Maryland suburbs myself. You'll like the area but be prepared for sticker shock when you look for a place to live.
