Thumbs up Potato's Obrien

Maybe you all already know this but 1 cup of Potato's Obrien (aka hash browns with onions and peppers) is only 1 point. The brand I got was Oreida (sp??). I just cooked it with some Pam butter spray with a fried egg and toast....yummy for a 4 pt saturday/sunday morning breakfast

Thanks skinnymini! That does sound like a filling weekend breakfast. I am going to have to try it next weekend.

Thumbs up

Hi everone!
When I attended meetings there was a potato soup recipe using the O'Brian hash browns.

I believe it was 2 or 3 to taste cans of low sod/98% fat free chicken broth, one pkg O'Brian potatoes and 1 package of fat free or low fat Pioneer Country gravy mix. Bring chicken broth to a boil, add potatoes and then gradually add gravy mix & cook until thick.

I've made it and it is {{so}} good. I believe it is only 2-3 pts per cup and very satisfying.

I'll try to find my information from the meeting or maybe someone else has this recipe as well so we'll have the correct points etc.

Everyone have a great weekend!
