Hi Everyone!!

  • I just joined today. Both WW and the forum.

    My name is Jennifer, and I'm 27 years old with 47 lbs to lose.

    I was on Atkins - and not seeing the progress I wanted to see - and suffered from not eating a lot of the foods I wanted to eat. So - I woke up this morning - and decided I need to start a new plan.

    I chose WW because I saw the progress alot of people have had on this plan. So far - I'm really enjoying the way I'm eating. Oatmeal, a sandwhich, GRAPES!!

    I feel like I've been deprived for so long - that the smaller portions don't bother me anymore
  • Hey Sky, and welcome to the WW Chicks board!

    I have a co-worker who has been grumbling about his Atkins from the beginning. Mainly because we work on jobs where there's a lot of catered food at big events. And I've smiled sweetly every time and said "The beauty of WW is you don't have to worry about what you can't eat, because nothing is off limits!" I'm surprised he hasn't strangled me in the process! lol

    However, I think that is the beauty of this program. The sure fire way to make me rebel is to tell me I can't have something. Then I want it! I don't run into that on WW, because as long as I plan, I can work just about anything into my program.

    So join in the fun here, and it's great to have another friend on the journey downards!
