Default I am a converty and need some info if you can.

I have been on a weightloss plan for 3 yrs slowly losing the weight setting a few lbs at a timeand maintaining that for the rest of the yr. I have had great success and I want my weightloss journey to end this year and maintained it for the rest of my life. I started out at 185 and I am now 138- I need to lose those last 10-15lbs this year- I would like to acheive this before my BD- april 23rd I will be 37.

On Jan 2nd I started the south beach- I did lose 7 lbs but I am feeling restricted and not happy with the way I am having to eat.
I did WW and lost the weight my problem is I had an old plan from my mother and I know things have changed-
I am wondering if I have to go to the meetings to get the new book or can I join online and recieve the book?

and what is the differences between the 2 programs online- and meetings-
what one is better cost wise?

I want to be able to sit down to eat with my family and make 1 meal and not 4-5 different things.

I am open to any advice-

Some of the concepts of SDB after the initial phase works well with W/W. W/W stesses that you should do the complex carbs, lean protein, veggies, fruit, dairy and some fats. The thing with W/W is you can eat whatever you want if if you follow 8 basic guides to healthy eating and stay within your points you'll lose. They suggest but don't force you to exercise but we all know that is good for you to exercise and build muscle which helps you not only lose weight but to maintain after you reach your goal.

W/W has a registration fee and weekly dues for meetings. Those dues range from $9-$15 depending on the region. Some areas offer free registration during certain times of the year others do not (mine offers 1/2 price registration usually). The online has a registration fee and is about $30 for 30 months or $15 a month.
