New To WW

  • Hi I just signed up for weight watchers yesterday and I was struggling to use half my points I kept eating a lot of zero foods, is it okay if you don't use that many points, or does that mean you aren't eating enough?
  • When I was going to WW we were told zero point foods do have calories and you are expected to eat them in reasonable amounts. Your body is going to count the calories even if you are counting points. They are great foods to round out a meal, have as a snack or keep you from getting into trouble, but bear in mind, you are taking in calories. Eat your points, use the zero point foods as needed to not go over points
  • Watch your portions

Hi there, just finishing out my membership with WW where they have the new Personal Points program. I like the flexibility it provides you. I would suggest to pay attention to the portion sizes suggested in the app for the zero-point foods. If you want to do more lower carb, there's options for picking zero-point foods that may be lower in carbs (such as chicken, fish, etc. ) I think I have done all I can on the PP program but due to some financial constraints, I can't continue it. The Digital 360 coaches are very motivating. ( personally I liked the old in-person meetings but couldn't afford that level.) I learned a lot, and lost some weight, and developed a taste for and ability to eat lower fat foods and non-starchy veggies, and drink water vs. stuff like diet soda and I think those habits will help me. Good luck and God bless!
