Figuring out pts.

  • Does anyone know of a downloadable program or site where I can type in the ingredients of a recipe and come up with the calories, fats, fibers, etc? I really have a hard time when cooking for my family, things like casseroles, etc., figuring out the point values on things. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.
  • Other than the 'Recipe Builder' on the W/W site I know of none online. However you can usually find a copy of MasterCook (which is what I use) to load onto your computer for a rather decent price.

I know there used to be one site but I think it shut down.
  • This site -- Nutrition Analysis Tool 2.0 -- is free and very cool once you get the hang of using it.

    Check it out!
  • Does anyone know if FitDay.com lets you do this? My computer is so old that if I tried to load Mastercook I think it would explode!

I'm having the same problem when cooking for my family. I'm always wanting to try new recipes, and if I don't have the nutritional information, it makes it really hard. It can be done by hand, but that's really frustrating.

    Thanks.
