Welcome!
If you don’t know the points on a food and it isn’t listed, you can go to create and then to calculator and can plug in calories, sat. fat, sugar, and protein to determine how many points each food is.
There are no forbidden foods on Weight Watchers so you can eat anything. However, foods that are high in saturated fat or sugar are many more points than the same calorie food that is low in those things and high in protein. Basically there are roughly 3 SmartPoints per 100 calories but sugar and sat. fat increase points while protein decreases them. So the same 100 calories food might be 5 SmartPoints (if lots of sugar or sat. fat) or 1 SmartPoint if it had a lot of protein (boneless chicken breast, for example).
I find it helps to pre-track my expected day to see how many points I would be spending for my food and then to tweak my plans depending on what I can afford.
