It's been WAY too long!

  • Hello everyone.
    Around May of 2012, I abruptly quit WW only 6 pounds shy of my goal and it's been all uphill since then. I was back up to 202 when I got pregnant in early 2013 and I ended up gaining a total of 36 lbs. I went into labor on Thanksgiving morning (of all days to not be able to eat!! LOL!) and 25 LONG hours later, I became the mother of the most beautiful little girl I've ever seen. By the time she was 2 weeks old, I was already 5 lbs under the 202 I started with without even trying!! So, for the past 10 months, I've just been frolicking around, not giving my weight a second thought until recently my clothes start feeling tight. I step on the scale a few weeks ago and much to my surprise it said 216!! So, I start cutting back on my snacking what not, thinking I'm doing really good until I weighed myself today, 220!! How on earth does one gain 4 pounds in 2 weeks!!!!
    ANYWAY, it is time to get a handle on this!!!! I can't have my daughter picking up my horrible eating habits! WW seems to be the only thing I can even remotely stick with so I'm going to give it another go, I look forward to reading everyone's posts, I know you guys will keep me motivated!

  • Welcome back! This is my first time doing WW, but I've definitely fallen off the diet bandwagon and gained more than once. This go around I'm treating it more as a lifestyle change and keeping it slow. So far it's been my most successful attempt. Look forward to seeing you around
