First WW weight in

  • So I said I would come back after a week and tell everyone how this has gone.

So I was at 157 when I started weight watchers a week ago (got TOM the day after I started so I had no great expectations, with PCOS it comes a few times a year, of course it would pick the day after i join ww) and this morning scale told me 150.6! Now I know the scale will jump back up tomorrow but who cares viva.la.victory today lol. If it doesnt jump up i know that the weight loss is just from week 1 shock of being good and I dont expect similar results next week.

Note: after weds I did realize my scale day was coming up so i was "extra good"(multivitamin, gym, no wine) on thurs and friday, that may be the reason why the jump.

How did you guys do your first week on WW, how did the 2nd week compare (as far as willpower, hunger & drive) so I can prepare myself.
  • Congrats on a great first week! My first weigh in was only about 1.5 pounds, but the next two were quite a bit higher (3-4 pounds), so I really can't tell you what to expect.

As for hunger, etc., I am rarely hungry on this plan. Willpower hasn't waned too much overall, at least so far. The great thing about this plan is being able to eat whatever I want, so that really helps with all that.

    Keep up the great work!
  • Thanks for the reply. I see your ticker and your doing amazing!
I figured that its going to even out to lower results the next 2 weeks making my average, average. But I was only really hungry one day this week and when I was i dipped into my weeklies and it felt really good to have that option. Also 2 days last week I had cookies, not nearly as many as i would have in the past but I still lost. So far Im happy and hoping it continues although last night got terrible sleep i think anxious about the weigh in and now im sleeping through my saturday and missed spin class
  • Hey... Monday will be my 2nd week weigh in so i'll re post then. But in my first week i also did well and lost 6lbs, My aim is for 2lbs per week.

    Roll on Monday

That is terrific! I too did good my first week - was down 7lbs. I weigh in on Tues, so can report back as well! Keep up the good work
  • Congrats! I've had great results with weight watchers and I hope that you have the same! The thing that helps me is mini goals of 5 pounds at a time. It makes it alot easier to keep the motivation!
  • Yes everyone come back for their weigh in days and update me! Keep up the good work. I agree smaller goals vs the overall number starring you down helps. I hope week 2 i can lose 3 and then 2 lbs a week from there. As long as it stays off!

Heres to a great weight week!
  • An normal weight loss for WW is 1-2 lbs, so don't be discouraged if it's "low".
This past time for me has been:
    W1: -5
    W2: -1.4
W3: +1.4 (I had a lot of sodium before WI and didn't drink enough fluids)
    W4: -2.6 (see, goodbye sodium!)
    I WI on Tuesday mornings.
  • Way to go!!!!

I lost almost 5 the first week and not even 1 the next week, but I still lost!!!

Hahaha @ goodbye sodium! I do need to watch my sodium and fluid intake. Im having a hard time drinking 6-8 glasses though due to work and time. Question, may sound silly but if i put crystal light/mio squirt in the water does it no longer count as "glass of water" its still 0 cal but idk?
  • I still count my Crystal light as a glass of water, but I may be wrong.
