Default Cocktails at a bar

Are there any suggestions for low PP drinks? I used the "cheat sheet" on my app and found that a screwdriver is worth 3pp - the problem was that I didn't notice it was per 4oz, so I went overboard with that on only 2 glasses lol.

I tried to look them up on my own but can only find recipes for drinks to make at home with special ingredients. I have no problem asking a bartender to make a special drink if I have to, but the ingredients have to be common enough that he'll have them.

Are there any suggestions for when I go out on weekends with friends?

Honestly, I try not to get too fancy when ordering drinks because I get scared that I will blow too many points. I usually stick to a glass of wine, because then I know for sure what I’ve got. But I’d like to peek in on any responses you get to this query too

I usually just try to make my drinks healthier. I now have a glass of wine that is half club soda, I have vodka and water or club soda with some lemon or lime.

One of my favorite things to do is Crystal Lite and vodka. I don't know if you could get a bartender to make that though

A nice quality scotch or bourbon on the rocks for me.

Raspberry vodka is 3pts/1.5 oz, regular vodka is 4pts/1.5oz - no clue why the difference, but you better believe I'll be having raspberry vodka w/ club soda and lime while poolside.

That's a great idea! I love my wine, but I save that for nights in the backyard. When I go out wine tends to cost more so I usually stick with cocktails, especially if they are priced for happy hour.

I think I will try the drinks you mentioned. The girls where I go are very nice (and skinny!) so I'm sure they'll have some decent options to suggest. Maybe I'll even be honest and ask for their advice, I'm sure they are watching their weight too.

Thanks for the replies
