omg, pineapple is my all time favorite. I have been known to eat an entire pineapple in one sitting. And always fresh for me, NEVER canned (yuck!). I love to cut them up; cutting and prepping is my favorite part of cooking. :)

Really quick question, does anyone have any advice on how many points I should be considering for one slice of deli ham...not from a packet, coming directly over the counter...is it 1 pp? Thanks everyone :)

I have my third weigh in today and then I'm off for a girls weekend. Truth be told, it's been an intense and crazy week and my tracking has been slow (it's only my SECOND week on WW! That's a bad sign, huh?). Though I haven't been tracking very well, I've been making healthy choices and have seen a weight loss on my scale, we'll see what the WW scale says. I plan to continue with healthy choices through the weekend and start back tracking with a vengeance on Monday.

Concerning freezing pineapple - you can definitely freeze it but it will be soggy if you thaw it to eat. It's probably just best for smoothies or to be eaten frozen.

The ham I buy is 2PP for 2 Oz. So it depends on how thick you have them cut your ham. It should be in your pocket guide and/or food companion.

The past week and a half I have been having a really hard time getting out of bed. Once I am up it's not bad, but just even rolling over is hard. I'm on a new medication and that's the only change in the past two weeks, so I'm thinking it's that. Luckily I work from home, so I've adjusted my work schedule, but it still stinks. Anyway, I woke up so late this morning, it was already time for lunch.......

Just dropping in to say hi! *waves*

Today was day three of the 30-day squat challenge that I started with one of my co-workers. I can't believe that I did 60 squats before 7am today.:dizzy: Made me really proud. Will I end the 30 days doing 250 squats? I don't know. I really can't think that far ahead. One day at a time. Just like I'm doing with this entire WW plan. :)

Hi pretty and awesome ladies!

Congrats to all who have lost this week. :carrot:

Before anything else I want to thank you guys for reading my rants, vents, frustrations, anger etc. here. Hopefully you wont get tired of reading it. You are the only people I share my weight loss/gain journey and because of y'all giving advice and being there make me want not to give up but go on. Thanks again!

My week? Not so. Tomorrow is my WI and I am anticipating a gain. Not a good week for me. I did good in tracking though but my choice of good is not so good. Lots of salt I might say. :(

So now I have set my mind, body and soul :D that I am starting anew again. Its a new month and I will really really try to stick to the plan (half way off the band wagon, almost fell off the month of April). I will pull myself and my big arse back up the band wagon and loose that weight. Need to get rid of this so called plateau!!! I will do it and I will succeed!! :goodluck:

myfavisblue: I am glad to be here for you. And I'm glad you and everybody else is here for me. This forum keeps me sane during the toughest times. :)

I re-lost last week's gain, and then some. Five pounds down this week! And I finally hit my 10% goal. I got down to ONE weekly point left this week, never cut it that close before. I am still not feeling or seeing the results, but that will come eventually. Although I do think my butt is a little flatter. :)

Have a great week everyone!!!

Have been doing a little shopping. I ordered a top from Avenue online, and stupid me, I bought an 18/20 like I used to because in my mind that is still what I need (even though I have a room full of too-big clothes now).....and of course it is too big since I am 27 pounds lighter! So I went to Kohls and shopped in the regular sizes for a couple tops....it felt so good to find something that fit! I hate plus size clothes...the hips/butt areas are always way too big for me when I find something that fits my bust (and the shirts are also too long for my height), so good riddance, plus size shopping. I had needed a little morale boost because I went through a little bit of a phase this week where I kept thinking of how I am still big and still have so far to go and I am not gonna be able to do it, blah blah blah

Wow, forkeeps, amazing loss!

myfavisblue 05-05-2013 12:48 AM

straightahead I know the feeling! When I lost my weight (from 16/18 now 10/12 hopefully going down) I was so happy buying clothes that look good on me. Same here I usually be at the plus sizes aisle and sometimes I feel embarass trying clothes from there. One point in my life I even bought jeans from men's section yikes!! Now I can go to a shop that cater for average/petite sizes Tried clothes from hollister and xpress and it fits! But too expensive for my wallet so yup khols here too. But I wont stop here until I reach my goal. Maybe a size 6/8. I dont think I can go no lower than that because I am big boned. And never been that lower in my life so not for sure if I can really reach a size 2/4. We will see. Oh by the way congrats on loosing 27 lbs. Awesome! :)

PA61 05-05-2013 11:37 AM

myfavisblue - you are doing a pretty awesome job as well!!

Congrats to you :cheer:

PA61 05-05-2013 12:08 PM

Hi everyone -

Kind of quiet here over the weekend :?: Hopefully everyone is out having a wonderful time!

I am on Day 5 (finally) and doing good. It seems to take me forever to get started, but once I do, I seem to get into a groove!

Will check back in a bit!!

Have a great day - :grouphug:

straightahead 05-05-2013 12:31 PM

Good job getting through most of your first week, PA61!

myfavisblue - thanks! I would also take a 6/8 as my final goal (not that I would stop trying to get smaller, but I am not gonna kill myself trying to get to the "perfect" size). I don't think I have ever been lower than a 10/12, so I cannot fathom a 2/4 at this point.

I lost 0.8 pounds this week....I don't know if my weight loss is hitting a plateau or it might just be because of TOM (I had weird, inconsistent weight readings all week because of it). But a loss is a loss...and I have a clean slate to start over with this week!

MrsD2008 05-05-2013 06:46 PM

The weather has been beautiful here, although we need some rain. I wanted to walk around my alumni campus on Friday, but my leg just wouldn't cooperate with me. I haven't been able to walk at all the weekend besides doing groceries and that killed me. I've been on the couch with my leg up most of the day.

My food choices haven't been the best the past few days. I don't feel like eating breakfast any more and I'm sick of the food choices that I have been enjoying... I guess I'm in a rut...

Congrats on the WL forkeeps!

At least the top wasn't too small straightahead!

I find it's slower on the weekends, PA61. I can't wait to hear about your first WI! I WI on Tuesdays and my new week starts that morning. Do you WI on Tuesdays or Wednesdays?

I agree about being slower on the weekends - everyone is out having fun :D

I will weigh-in on Weds AM - I started the same day as my first meeting since I have done this before (but it has been a very long time since I made it through even the first few days!)so I knew what to expect. I am in a completely new area/new state for a few months, so trying to make the best of it and concentrate on positive things while my DH is going through medical procedures/treatments.

I bought a fresh pineapple! I am going to make chicken teriyaki tomorrow night! YUM!!!
