Default Tracking...how do you do it?

I find a lot of people I know track their points daily different ways. Using the 3 month booklet you get at WW, the weekly trackers you can pick up at meetings

For me, I tried the above and just wasn't motivated to write in them! I bought myself a pretty leather notebook and I have found that writing in it, tracking it my own way but similar to the way I should be doing it, it works better for me and I never ever forget to write down what I'm eating every day. Plus I'm creative and doing it my way, I use a lot of colour and add in personal notes and reminders and motivational sayings as I go along

Anyone else use their own notebook or do you use an App or other WW materials?

I use the WW online tracker. When I went on vacation a few months ago, I had a few days where I didn't have access to anything online, so I just minded my portions sizes as best I could and wrote down what I ate in a little notebook. I was pleased when I entered everything a few days later and found that I stayed under my daily points allowance.

Most times for me though, I track as I eat online.

I'm doing WW Online, so I mostly use my iPhone app and sometimes the website. The majority of the time I track everything before I eat it, it helps keep me be more mindful that way. In the beginning I had one too many surprises where I'd eat something and then track it and find out it was a crazy amount of points.

I track online, either on the website or my iPhone. I tried paper tracking and it was just not for me.

I track online but lately it is not keeping me motivated. I may just go back to paper

I actually cancelled my WW account and started using a totally free App on my phone called WWDiary. In my opinion, it works the same as the WW app on my phone and it's super easy to use. I like having it at my fingertips and it keeps me accountable.

I'm calorie counting now, but I track the same way I did when I was on WW four years ago.

I use a word document and just keep adding to it. I plan my meals so I don't have to worry about what I'm going to eat at any given time. Here's an example of two days, but my document goes on and on. On my old computer I had over a year in one document, lol.

DAY 1
B: English muffin (100), 1oz goat cheese (80), basil, spinach (5), tomato (10) = 195
S: Strawberries (60) = 60
L: Carrot peanut soup (159) = 159
S: Cherry tomatoes w/hummus = 200
D: 1oz egg noodles (100), cabbage (30), flounder (100), 4oz scallops (100) = 330
S: 1 tuna cake, lemon caper aioli (150), 1oz pistachios (160) = 210
TOTAL: 1154

DAY 2
B: Bread round (100), 1oz turkey (30), swiss (80), 1T oo mayo (45), mustard (5) = 260
S: Small peach = 35
L: Spicy tomato soup (118) = 118
S: Baby carrots w/hummus = 200
D: ¾ cup brown rice (150), 1 cup Puerto Rican style beans (200) = 350
S: Iced coffee w/agave (30), T 1% milk (5) = 35
TOTAL: 998

I use the WW Online tracker. However, I'm not sure whether or not I'm going to continue to pay for WW. Instead, I'll use a phone app, or my head. Points are easier for me to keep track of than calories.

I might use a google docs spreadsheet too. It's important that I can access it from my phone. If I update it right away, then I don't have any problems with going over points!

You are an inspiration. I tried to journal on my own, but it never really got me interested. Now I'm using the WW's journal because it has an easy way to enter the AP and WP. I never could make mine look that great. Do you go to WW's meetings or just do it on your own?

KC How do you edit or delete a food entry on WW Diary? Love the app, but my mistakes add up.
Thanks

I'm using online + iphone for now. Since our area doesn't allow monthly pass, that could get expensive with meetings as well, so I may change.

I've always used the WW online tracker and a word document to plan meals.

I use a little 60 page memo book. Fits in my purse. I always have it with me. I do use My Fitness Pal to look up nutritional info. I never really got comfortable with the apps.
