Hi everyone! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend. My sister and her fiance were in town, so we had lots of family stuff going on. That, of course, meant eating out and not having total control over food. But I lost 1/2 lb, so I must have done some things right

I'm also only 1.6 lbs away from losing 100!!!!!!

Great job Tudor! I will know tomorrow how I did. I am looking at last weeks journal and I did ok not great so I really need to get myself motivated. I know I say that every week I just keep hoping it will happen.

I had my first weigh in today. I've lost 2.6 since joining last Monday. I only used about 10 of my weekly 49 extra points. I thought I was going to lose more, but 2.6 is better than nothing. How much did you gals lose your first week?

hi guys! I am so psyched and scared because I have decided to start the training for the c25k program. My first session is tonight. Yikes!

Diet is going well. So is my working out. I average about 2-3 hrs a day now. I never thought I could do it!

My weigh-in day is Thurs but I snuck a sneak peek at the scale because my TOM just ended and I wanted to see where I am with the water retention weight and I think I lost another pound. But it's not official until Thursday so I can't do a jig just yet.

mini me great commitment on wanting to track! Sometimes putting down everything you eat is a bit scary but also educational. If you are honest with yourself you look at the journal and can say 'wow no wonder I have gained weight' or 'super wow look how healthy I am eating and the weight is just falling off'

Chubby good luck on the c25 I did it a few years ago and then once I hit the 5K mark I quit LOL now I do the elliptical in the gym for 60 min and try to get in a few days of weights

I've been pretty good at tracking. Actually walked 3 miles last night. Wow I didn't realize how out of shape I've become. Even my ribs are sore?!?

Chubby - I would love to do the C25k. My 13 y/o son has run a couple 5Ks and has said, "Come on, Mom. You can run with me." That should be motivation .... but I always listen to those voices that say I can't SO I've never even tried.

I love C25K! I started back in February and prior to that I had never run before. Not even in school -- I always walked the mile every year. But C25K was the perfect way to ease into it and I learned I really love to run! I've already competed in two 5Ks and have three more coming over the next few months

I've completed 2 c-to-5k sessions so far and I'm loving it! I have never been more proud of myself. And tonight I treated myself to a new pair of running shoes. Much better for running than what I had.

I refuse to fail or give up at this. I give myself permission to take longer than the 9 week timeline, I'd be stoked if I could run a 5k in 9 mos! I will take as long as I need to move from step to step. I'll prolly do week 1 for a couple weeks until I feel ready to step it up.

Yay! My mom can hardly believe I'm running now.

Great job Chubbygirl! and enjoy those new shoes! I am betting you are able to do the 5k in those 9 weeks! I remember when I started I tried jog/run to fast and would get short of breath then all of a sudden it was like duh? slow down you can gain speed later LOL

Last night we splurged and bought some snow crab legs. I took out all the meat then we made big salads, added the crab and my homemade ceaser dressing (ww friendly yum). Oh my gosh it tasted so good and then I added a small piece of toasted garlic bread -- thought I was in heaven.

Perfect attitude to have! It's more of a guideline than anything else and they do encourage you to repeat days or weeks as needed. And remember, the point is to increase distance, not speed, so don't worry about how fast or slow you're going. Just keep running and have fun!

(I bought proper running shoes part way in, too. Made a huge difference!)

Well chickies so far it has been a great day! My daughter has been over bringing decorations to put up for my grand daughters 3rd birthday next weekend. Going to be lots of kiddies and adults and I hope the weather stays nice...need to keep those critters corralled outdoors.

Food wise was pretty good so far too. I did something I rarely do and went out to breakfast, went to Shari's and had this healthy omelet made with egg whites, some turkey and veggies I had them hold the cheese and then some fresh fruit. I have to say it was pretty good but trying to figure the points is a bit tough I looked on their website and it did not list that menu item so I just broke it down into ingredients then added some fat for cooking and hope I got it right

Well am off for now
