Help with Daily Points ?

  • When I started WW 2 weeks ago, the online points tracker said I was allowed 33 points a day - I was 226 lbs.

    Last Wednesday, weigh in day, I had lost 3.5 lbs making me 222.5 lbs. The points tracker updated my points to allow 38 points a day - it went up even though my weight went down?

    I contacted WW via email & their "response" made no sense and was talking about adding on 6lbs for maintenance, but I am clearly not in maintenance, I even made sure that I didn't mess up on my goal weight.

    I felt very comfortable at 33 points and there were even some days I had to add in some food to make it to the 33 points. Eating more points makes no sense to me?

    Anyone know why it would do this &/or can tell me if they come up with other points allowance then 38 points....for 222.5 lbs 5'2" female.

  • haha, never mind, I searched some more and somehow I had switched to maintaining instead of loosing weight, even though I'm definitely no where near my goal weight
  • Yeah - the system, when it thinks you hit any sort of mini goal, seems to throw you into maintenance. Sometimes it seems to happen kind of randomly, too.
