Default Update

Hi everyone

I posted a couple weeks ago about my issue with compulsive eating and also about my daughter. We are both receiving therapy, thankfully the therapist she is seeing specializes in eating disorders.

My daughter is doing much better and has STOPPED cutting. I have her on Vitamin B12, D3, and a Multi. Her moods have gone from night and day, she seems like a much happier kiddo now.

Today I decided I need to stick with Weight Watchers because it works. I've been going back and forth, back and forth but what I really needed to do was stick with the plan I'm familiar with. Weight Watchers helped me gain my life back and I at least owe it to my leader to stick with it until I reach goal. She has been there for me every step of the way these past 2 years and I feel I'd be letting her down if I quit.

Today I signed up for my 4th 5k which is at the end of April, my goal is to lose 10lbs by race day. I'm finding that by signing up for races way in advance, it motivates me to stay on track.

I wanted to thank everyone who has been here for me and with me every step of the way. Your wonderful advice and comments mean so much to me and it's one of the reasons I keep pushing forward. Every single day is a challenge for me but I'm taking it slow, focusing on not thinking about food so much.

Love seeing someone who's had such great success with WW. The goal section is filled with so many calorie counters, I love hearing when someone has had success with the plan Im using. It gives me hope.
Best of luck with your therapy, both for you and your daughter...and good luck as well on your race!

Great job! Glad you're both getting help and feeling better! You look fabulous in your avatar, btw.
I'm so glad you're sticking with Weight Watchers.

I'm happy to hear that y'all are both getting counseling. Sounds like it's going well As for your weight loss goals, it seems attainable and signing up for a run is awesome!

Hi Kimberly! What a great post!!! I totally sympathize. I've changed plans at least twice for every pound I've lost, and I always come back to WW. I truly hope this time I'll stay here

You have done SO well. You must be feeling 100 times better than you did when you started, and be that much more healthy. It will happen. It will.
