Gemini Sue- Good to see you back! That is too bad about the computer- they sure are pricey! Oh well, think of it is a really expensive weight loss tool! :D
Bandit2-Glad your weekend is going well! I hope your Sat. night is great!
Judmom- If you don't have time for additional exercise, all that working time on your feet sure counts for something! I read something by a waitress, saying that she uses a pedometer, and on a busy night she gets 3 miles in!!! Don't worry about the gain back, concentrate on getting rid of it again!!
Hope all you others are having a great weekend!!
I just got back from a quickie visit to my sis and her bf. Often visits with her are detrimental to my weight loss plans, but I stuck to the plan this time! I have eaten at the low end of my pts range every day until today, and have lots of pts banked...not sure if I will use them tonight, but nice to know I can if I want to!

Happy weight loss!!!!

Glen,
Hi! Nice to have a man join our challenge! Have you been doing WW long? Good luck on the challenge- green beer sounds like a great reward!
It is super chilly here today, how about there? Yes, Estevan is about 1 hour from here. How do you know Estevan?

Wow, I used an ab wheel yesterday, and my abs hurt in a weird location today! It was a great workout, I think I may invest in one!

Rebecca- Welcome to the challenge, and good luck!:) Looks like we are in almost the same place! How long did it take you to gain the 30lbs back? With my pregnancy plus a little prepreganancy weight, it took me about a year and a half. Hopefully it takes much less to lose it all!!!
How did everyone's weekends go? How are the WI's going?

antbaby 02-24-2003 12:56 PM

I made lifetime in 1998. So it took me a few years. I wish I could say it was from having a baby, but it wasn't. Just good old laziness on my part. I did it once I know I can do it again...:flow2: Good luck to all...

I am new here...love this website, so much great info! My challenge is to stay within my points, drink more water, and to exercise each day. I am in my seventh week of WW-I weigh in tonight, so far I am down 22#. I have never lost weight before and am hoping to be able to keep on this program until I reach my goal. (then I will worry about keeping it off). I need encouragement and ideas to suceed. Thanks!:^:

SaskieMom 02-24-2003 09:21 PM

Idealperson- Congrats on a great start to the program, and welcome to the challenge!
Crast1980- That must be nice, going to the gym for a good workout! I can't wait until I can get back at that...:)
Glen- Sounds like the program is working well for you! I have a close friend who lived in carnduff for quite a few years!
I had a good day- way to cold for any exercise, but as long as I do something tomorrow I will meet my goal of 5 days for the week. Tomorrow is also WI day. I stayed OP very well this week, but since I seem to lose best when I am over pts, I am a little worried! I guess I will see tomorrow!
Has anyone hit the point where they have lost so much weight that they are cold ALL the time? It happened to me the first time through the program, and is starting to set in again...a small price to pay for being healthier!!!

Judmom 02-25-2003 01:52 AM

I wanted say congrats to everyone for doing well so far.
 I am crying because I am getting so frustrated I start the day out good then I get an attack of the munchies or I am eating food from work(McDonalds) and then I go over bored. my eating seems to be mindless. It is like I am outside of my body watching myself make a pig out of myself And I can't stop me from doing it.
This probably sounds corny but if anybody else has gone threw this and could give me any tips iit would be greatly appreciated.
so needless to say I am not doing well with this challange.

bandit2 02-25-2003 09:11 AM

Hi everyone:

Had a great weigh in last night - was down 4 lbs.

Maybe having a cold helped - who knows. But I'll take it.

This week I am going to exercise at least 3 times for 1/2 hr.
Drink all my water & stay within my range.

Hope everyone else has a great week - bye for now.

SaskieMom 02-25-2003 11:44 AM

bandit2~congrats on your loss! that gets rid of the weight you gained on your trip, right? nice work!!!
judmom~hang in there...is there any way you could chew gum or suck on hard candies so you don't eat mindlessly at work? i worked at a & w during university, and i am sure that is where a lot of my initial weight came from! also, could you tell some co-workers that you are doing WW- that might help keep you accountable. it might help if you put a button or something in your pocket, and every time you feel like eating, feel that item and think about why you shouldn't overeat- why you want to lose weight. good luck!

I have WI tonight, so will report back later!
Have a great op day!

bandit2 02-25-2003 11:56 AM

Hi everyone:

Judmom - start today like the beginning of programme. And if temptation gets you at work make allowances for that. Keep a few extra points then have a little snack. Try some protein snacks.

Remember, we are all here for you & wish you luck.
Start each day fresh & try to do better than the day before.

Hope you all have a OP week.

Bye for now.

Crast1980 02-25-2003 04:15 PM

Well, WI is tomorrow. I have been doing great this week, but it has only been 2 days. Boday aches from working out yesterday, but I went today and walked on th treadmill anyway. Stretched out and loosened my muscles up a little bit. Will get this weight off in no time. Bought myself a workout outfit for the gym Friday and it is nice and comfortable.
Not much else to report!
Later guys, keep up the hard work!!!
