January Goals
Okay fellow weight watchers followers. I am starting this thread as more of an accountability thread for the month of January.
Weight: I would like to lose 7 lbs. CW: 212.3 (up from last week :( ) End of Week 1: 209 (-3.3) End of Week 2: 206.1 (-2.9) End of Week 3: 209 (2.9) tom End of Week 4:205.5 Exercise: I do not have an exercise goal for January besides just to keep moving. I'm trying to continue eating more healthy, and will then steer my focus towards fitness in the coming months. Other: I would like to stay on plan the whole month of January. I would like to lose a point. My current point total is 36. Anyone else looking for accountability in January please join me. =o) :hug: |
I am on board too I have been on WW since may of 2011 and have done pretty good, with almost 60 lbs lost but I have been eating up a storm since Thanksgiving so I need to get back on Track in Jan also I havent been going to meetings since Sept i think I will drop in on a few I would like to lose 10-15 lbs this month :carrot:

Weight Loss Goal: I would like to lose 10 lbs. Current Weight: 186.8 LBS End of Week 1: 185.0 LBS (Down 1.8 LBS) End of Week 2: 184.2 LBS (Down 2.6 LBS) Was sick this week YUCKIE!! Stayed in bed for four days straight. :'( End of Week 3: 180.0 LBS (Down 6.8 LBS) Hoping by the end I will reach my goal, only 4.0 LBS to go!!! :cheer2: End of Week 4: 179.4 LBS (Down 7.4 LBS) Not meeting my goal, but getting closer just the same. Only 2.6 LBS short of my goal; and since I was sick I will still take this as a WIN!!! Exercise:My exercise goal for January, is to do something 30 minutes a day to get my heart rate up, 4 days a week. :carrot: EXCITED! Good Luck to everyone! Pain is just weakness leaving the body.. I want to lose 10 lbs from my 1st day which is dec 27 to jan 27. :)

I love setting goals but I've been trying to think a lot about what would be realistic and not setting myself up for disappointment. Hopefully this is a good number to aim for. :)
Weight: I would like to be out of the 190s (so -7.0 lbs) CW: 196.8 End of Week 1: 199.0 (+2.2) End of Week 2: End of Week 3: End of Week 4: Exercise: I'm pretty satisfied with my activity and it's the one area where it never feels like a battle, so just keeping up what I'm doing now. 4x 45 min strength training (2x upper body, 2x lower body), 3x running, yoga at least 1x, and sometimes "bonus cardio" when hubby wants to go to the gym and I don't have anything planned. Other: I think that's it! I got on the scale today and was exactly the same as last week's WI. That's only happened once before hehe. Better than a gain especially after the holidays, but man, I want to get that scale moving. Hope everyone is ready for a great January! We can do this! :) |
Weight: I would like to lose 7 pounds this month so that I am officially out of the overweight BMI category.
CW: 161.6 End of Week 1: 160 End of Week 2: End of Week 3: End of Week 4: Exercise: I did not exercise at all this year (well, not on purpose). I would like to begin exercising three times per week. Other: I want to put significant effort into staying on plan and tracking everything. |

Weight: I would like to lose the 5% (8.9 lbs) that I was "supposed" to lose in December (I ended the month at the same weight I started, I'm pretty sure I lost inches, tho. I'll find out tomorrow, it's measurement day!) CW: 179 [edited to add] and I just took measurements- I've lost 14 inches since 12/1/11!! End of Week 1: End of Week 2: End of Week 3: End of Week 4: Exercise: I'll agree with the above in that I just want to keep moving. I've fallen in love with my kickboxing and zumba classes, so I want to maintain that.. and keep up with my bodyrock. I guess I have been slacking on that- I can tell I'm not as strong as in previous months. I'm also hoping to find a used/ cheap Zumba video somewhere, to do at home- I didn't think it would be so hard to find. Other: I don't have any "special occasions" in January, so I really hope to stick to 29 pts/ day all month long. |

CW: 167.6 End of Week 1:166.6 End of Week 2: End of Week 3: End of Week 4: Exercise: Currently I do Zumba 4 times per week, I do 4 to 5 Spin Classes and I'm currently training for a run I'm doing in February. I also strength train a couple days a week. Other: I've been on plan for 2 years January 20th, I lost the first 100lbs in 13 months. I've maintained (Had ups and downs this entire year) for a year when I should be at goal. My goal for 2012 is to make it to my goal weight of 150. |

I would like to get out of the 150's and back into the 140's.
CW: 153.0 Exercise goal - do yoga every day Other comments: My new grand experiment is writing down what I eat but not calculating points on the weekends. I want to learn how to eat reasonably without tracking points (something I shirk from when I'm being really bad). I generally save my weeklies for the weekend, so it's not the end of the world if I go over. I will stay OP during the week, and then eat moderately on the weekend. This is an attempt to build character on my part. |

I'm just starting back WW today after having my twin boys on Dec. 6th. I currently weight 287. I want to loose 10lbs by February 2nd. No workout goals yet. Getting back onto plan and making sure I get cleared by my MD before I get into anything crazy. I'm only 4 weeks Post Partum so I'm not 100% yet. |
Hello all. I'm Angi. I just signed up on 3fc but I've been on WW since May 2011. I'm looking for a little extra bit of support and this seemed like a good place.
So, onto my January goals: Weight: Get below 240 CW: 245.4 (as of 12/31) End of Week 1: End of Week 2: End of Week 3: End of Week 4: Exercise: I'm just starting to add in the exercise so I'm going to take it a little slow. (but better slow than none at all) With that being said, my goal is to spend my lunch hour in the gym at work at least twice a week Other: I have friends visiting the last 2 weekends in January. One has already told me my job is to take her to all the restaurants she loves that she doesn't have in L.A. My other will be to make it through those weekends on plan and still meet my goal of losing at least 5.5 pounds this month. *edited to add drinking more water to my "other" goal. I've been drinking way too many sodas the last few weeks. |
Weight: I would like to lose 10lbs by the end of this month. I'll be really happy to just stick to the plan!
CW: 185.6 End of Week 1: End of Week 2: End of Week 3: End of Week 4: Exercise: Make it to the gym 3x per week - NO EXCUSES. It's a start, I need to get back into an exercise routine. Once I get used to it again, I'll be more than happy to make it there more frequently. Other: A few conferences and work events this month. I'm also writing a finance exam next month so I'll be doing a lot of studying. |
New Year New Me!
I'm new to WW and doing WW points, but I'm ready now to put myself first and I really think this is the year I can get the weight off. My January goal will be 10 pounds! I know I can do it! Slow and steady wins the race :)
CW: 270 Pounds Ugh Week 1 progress: Week 2 progress: Week 3 progress: Week 4 progress: Exercise: I'd like to walk 30 minutes a day 5 days per week. And I'd like to add on an extra 15 minutes of hard cardio at least 3 days per week. I will do strength training as well. Other: Going to do my best to stick to the points, allowing myself a few splurge points on the weekend. I'm hoping to really kick off good habits this month! |
Ladies, I have to admit... I was a little discouraged stepping on the scale today, because I only lost a few tenths and since I've been on weight watchers, I never had experienced this early in the game. Well, I made one of my goals which explained this temporary bare loss, I lost my point I was wanting to, lol. One goal down.

Weight Goal: Get below 240 CW: 245.4 (as of 12/31) End of Week 1: 246.8 End of Week 2: End of Week 3: End of Week 4: Yep, I was up 1.4 :-( This was very frustrating to me. It was not expected at all! - I stayed well within my points range. I didn't use all of my WP and with the exception of the oil & vitamin I was OP. - I drank tons of water. (at least 64 oz a day) - I even exceeded my exercise goal by going 3 days this past week and earning 9 AP. (At least I met one of the goals) I've been going over and over last week in my head since my weigh in Saturday and I just can't pinpoint anything that might have contributed to a gain - except possible water weight and maybe too much fruit. In any case, I am making a few changes this week. I'm going to use very few, if any of my weekly points, I'll be hitting the gym 4 times this week and adding in a little bit of weights to my cardio and cutting back on the fruit. We'll see what happens next week. |
Weighed in at 209. Yippe 10 lbs til Onderland once again.

I joined weight watchers (for the second time) two weeks ago. The first week, I tracked, exercised and gained .8 pounds, I was frustrated but stuck with it and lost 6 pounds last night. I have never lost 6 pounds at one time!!!! I am so excited and hope I can keep it off!!!

I did not meet that goal, but I got pretty dang close. It was 170, and I hit 172. My knees have been hurting since May, so I finally started some physical therapy- they banned me from my high-impact workouts for a few weeks, so my loss slowed to a crawl. I added in water aerobics, and leisurely swimming with my 5 year-old, but it's not the same... "Exercise: I'll agree with the above in that I just want to keep moving." See above "Other: I don't have any "special occasions" in January, so I really hope to stick to 29 pts/ day all month long." I did better in January than I had in previous months. All in all, success! |
