May I have your opinion?

  • In a few weeks, I'll be living alone for a little while, probably a few months. I want to take the opportunity to make the very best of my WW experience, since I can totally control what foods are in the house, when I eat, what is served, etc.

I really looked hard at the program guidelines and came up with what I think is a pretty good sample menu for a 36-point day. I think I have all of the Healthy Advantage points covered (I didn't list liquids, but I would be sure to do the required amount in mostly water and herbal tea).

Would y'all take a look and let me know what you think? Are all my bases covered, not too heavy on bad fats, unhealthy carbs, sugar etc.? (PS... I am diabetic but determined to reverse that with the proper diet and exercise.)

Of course, I don't plan on eating the same thing every day, but I could use this as my starting off point, for simplicity's sake, and substitute carefully depending on what I feel like eating.

I'm happy to hear any input! Thank you in advance.

  • Hi, im looking at your tracker so far looks good, but

1 cup fat free milk is 2 points plus not 3
1/2 cup fat free milk is only 1 point plus

    other then that looks good!!!!
  • Thank you, Josiesmom, for looking so carefully! You're right ... I have some recalculations to do.

  • That seems like a fairly well balanced day with plenty of fruit/veg. I see the Olive Oil servings. Some healthier fats from that and the peanut butter earlier in the day. Protein from tuna and chicken. Milk servings from the milk and cheese.

That's what I'd consider, for me, a pretty spot-on day.

Like mentioned you might want to double check the Points values. Other than that... I see nothing I'd really want to add or subtract.
  • Thank you, Lovely!
