Do you have it set up where you pull from activity points first or weeklies?
Right now I take from weeklies and usually eat at least half of them and have had success, but I also feel my momentum slipping just a little bit and wonder if I should switch it up for a few weeks just to see what happens. I was just curious about everyone else
This is purely a mental thing with me. I don't like to "eat back" my hard work.
And that was where I've been for the past eight months or so since starting Points Plus. But now, I think I need to try something new for awhile and actually EARN the extra points I eat instead of treating the weeklies like a free pass.
I don't normally touch my weeklies during the week, it's just the weekend, and the past few weekends I've barely tracked, as I keep thinking "Oh, well, I have all those weeklies and I did all that exercise." I need to track, though, so I am hoping this will keep me more accountable.
I eat the APs (or at least try to) and do not touch the weeklies. For me it is also a mental thing, but more of an "I earned those APs through hard work and those WPs are just given to me for nothing, so I can use the APs and not the WPs."

It's all about what keeps us going forward! I fully agree. And I've seen some people who've followed that principle of "earn the extra points" and it's worked perfectly well for them!
I hear what you mean about the Weeklies being hard to resist on the weekends. So, whatever keeps us accountable is 100% best
I'm the opposite of Lovely. I would rather eat to compensate the calories I burned while working out then eat calories/points I didn't earn. That being said, I generally don't use my AP or Weeklies unless we're going out to a restuarant not on plan or we're having friends over for drinks, etc.
I eat my activity points first but I also eat most of my weeklies! I'm a runner so if I didn't eat back at least half of the calories I burned, I'd see a gain. It all comes down to what YOU feel comfortable doing and what works for your body =)

And that's the other thing -- over the past few weeks I've started exercising A LOT more, which is fantastic, but I know I may need to tweak my eating habits a bit and I'm still trying to figure that out. I've never before been in a place where I've needed to eat more to make up for all the calories I've burned!

Me neither! I'm starting to run more and more but I did not change anything on the diet yet... It's a whole new world opening to me right now LOL
