Just the sauce ...Chinese garlic sauce

  • Anyone have a clue on the points plus in Chinese garlic sauce? I know it is made with oil, and (duh) garlic, but I don't know what else. If the veg is zero, and shrimp is a super point value, if you don't have the rice its a very low point meal....but I don't know how to count the garlic sauce. I saw online a chain restaurant value of perhaps chicken and garlic sauce, but I don't know if that includes rice. If you get steamed veg and sauce on the side, you only need count the sauce. PP value of garlic sauce anyone? Thanks, D

  • I don't, but everywhere I can find some info it is with chicken or shrimp and, I'm assuming a portion includes the rice. When you get a moment, sure, I would appreciate it.
  • I am getting between 4-6 PP for 1 C. of sauce. Does that jive with what you're seeing?
  • Thank you Mrs. D Can't imagine I'd ever consume a cup during lunch. I think I found a website that stated the same, and all the other sites point to with protein and I'm assuming rice. If the veg is 0 and a cup of sauce at most is 6, I think about 3 points for the entire meal w/o rice. I can live with that once per week as a treat. Perhaps that is my weakness...garlic sauce. I have not truly craved any other food.
