Hi !!
Can someone please either direct me to where I can find or tell me what is the difference between all the different plans, simply filling, momentum and points plus. I am just wanting to know if one would be better for me than another. Since I keep hearing people talk about the other plans I was just wondering if there was one better than another?
Thanks for your help!
Points Plus is the current plan that using their new formula for Points tracking.
Momentum is the OLD plan using the older formula for Points tracking, and is no longer actively supported through Weight Watchers, though some people find better success with it since they've been using it for so long.
Simply Filling is less "counting points" and more relying on hunger signals and using the Filling Foods as your main food choices.
Points Plus and Simply Filling are both actively supported as they are the most up-to-date plans.
Momentum is supported only through old meetings materials and through other websites like 3FC.
Points Plus is the most current plan Weight Watchers is going by. They did testing and found out that this is the most sound way of losing weight, otherwise, they wouldn't have switched plans on us! The Points Plus are calculated based on Total Fat, Carbs, Dietary Fiber and Carbs.
Momentum was the previous plan before Weight Watchers. It's still considered Weight Watchers, just might or could be considered out dated. The points are based on Calories, Fat and Protein (I think, can't quite remember!).
Simply Filling is merely a technique you can use instead of (or in addition to) counting your points. You basically eat power foods until you feel satisfied, not stuffed. When you go to your meeting, you should be able to get a pamphlet about Simply Filling from your leader, or find the info on weightwatchers.com.
ETA: Woops--looks like Lovely beat me to it by a few minutes! LOL
