So, I was appalled when I weighed myself this morning, and the scale had jumped up over 3 lbs from yesterday... then I noticed throughout the day that my arms looked really squishy- I assumed I'd put on water weight, so I popped a Diurex because I get really uncomfortable when I put on too much water weight. So, I'm sitting in class tonight when all of a sudden i'm hit with cramps so bad that I was grateful I was sitting down. Come home 2.5 hours later, and sure enough, I'd started my monthly. My cycle has been really wonky the last few months, so I hadn't been expecting it.. it explains the weight gain and arm squishiness. And then it was SUPER hot today, which always makes me retain water, too. Drink water, water, water- to flush, flush, flush it out!

Lady WW's, don't forget our hormones can fluctuate our weight.. so don't get too discouraged with the # on the scale if it seems "off".

Yes! I had that issue a couple weeks ago. I have an IUD, so I have no clue where I am in my cycle.

I see you are Oregon, I am in Portland, and yes, it was hot! I hate the heat!

I have one, too.. the weird thing is I've had it for 4 years, and only in the last few months has my cycle been acting super funky. I had no period for 3 months, then I had one in April, then 17 days before the May period, and this month it was 26 days. And it's either be really, really heavy, or really, really light. Sorry people, I know that's all TMI.. but jeez.

Hey, P-towner.. I'm in Salem (otherwise known as Solame. lol) I prefer the warmer weather, of course, but I actually got a sunburn today- I was shocked. My kids are still complaining about how hot it is in the house and it's 11:30.
