I wouldnt worry the oil too much. Just make sure you eat them tomorrow and keep balanced! Have a small snack to eat the last 5 points.

I know it's too late now but nuts are always the best solution to this!

Nuts don't count towards the healthy oils. It has to be actual oil, like olive or canola.

I'm not saying that's bad advice, but even if she were to eat the nuts, she still can't mark them off on her Good Health Guidelines for the day.

Missing a day of GHG isn't usually detrimental, that being said! I commend you for wanting to get them in as often as possible.

Honestly, you can mix a serving of oil into just about ANYTHING without it leading to a strange taste.

I've heard of people mixing it into yogurt, smoothies, oatmeal, milk, soups, etc. Just... tsp of olive oil right into their yogurt and mixed up good.

It sounds strange, but that's probably the best thing you might be able to do if you want to get in both your points and your oils.

One woman at a meeting suggested that she actually just ate the oil off the tsp ...plain... if she needed to get the GHG done at the end of the night. That was one thing I couldn't do personally, but it worked for her...

I can see what you're saying but nuts take up those last few points quickly and they are a great source of healthy fat. It's a better option than downing a spoon of pure oil at the end of the night.

Oh, I agree. I just know the question about nuts counting towards GHG has shown up here before
