Default Weekly Chat 5/24 - 5/30

And another week begins!

I am playing around with replacing some of my regular water aerobics gradually so yesterday went back to a spin class for the first time in, oh, almost 2 years. My legs are not happy with me today.

So who has big plans for Memorial Day weekend?! Hope everyone is having a good week!

No plans for Memorial Day weekend for me (I'm Canadian; we just had our holiday weekend, and I didn't do anything special for that either, lol.)

My weigh-in is tomorrow night and I am *dreading* it after my week of birthday indulgences. I know I'll have gained, and I'm trying to convince myself that it's just a temporary setback and that I *know* what I have to do to turn it around. But right now I'm just finding it difficult to stay on track when my mind is going, "But you already gained, you might as well just eat whatever you want now." I know I can't do that, though. *L*

Hopefully the news at the scale tomorrow night won't be as bad as I'm expecting. I'm hoping that the exercise and water intake will balance it out.

Oh, and just to put the cherry on the sundae: Today I am craving Subway like you would not BELIEVE. I haven't had it in almost a year, but today I would give anything for a footlong roast chicken sub. *L*

no plans here, except RELAX. I haven't had a good relaxing weekend in forever.

Hi guys! I'm new to 3FC, but not to WW. Been an online member since May '09.

I'm on the SFT. Thinking about raising my goal weight...

Welcome NewGirl24! Your name is very appropriate

My WI was yesterday and I only lost 0.4lbs. And I know, any loss is good and slow and steady and blah blah blah. But I didn't lose anything last week, so only 1/2 a lb is frustrating. I'm going to try and mix it up a bit this week and use less of my weeklies. See if that does anything.

No plans per se, but I am going to a party on Saturday. It's just totally unrelated to the holiday

Newgirl24 - glad to see I'm not the only one on SFT here. I think I read in another post that you're vegan. I'm not, but I definitely appreciate a delicious meatless meal every now and then. I'm down 15.2 lbs. in 16 weeks with 30 lbs. to go to reach goal. I consider my loss kind of slow but I have to say, I've never felt better eating all that clean, unprocessed food. This is definitely something I can do forever. My 49 weeklies usually go to additional servings of daily healthy oils and a few glasses of wine per week. Everything else is simply Simply Filling!

Good afternoon ladies!

I've been kind of lurking lately, but decided to get off my rear and start interacting and posting more...maybe it will help me keep motivated.

Just some back story...I'm 31, have 3 little girls (ages 8, 5 1/2, and 1yr)...I signed up mid April for WW Online and thought I'd give it a go. So far so good. Down almost 15 lbs. I've also been doing the walk away the lbs dvd's and other low intensity exercise....I HATE exercising! LOL I'm really trying to get more motivated.

This week has been REALLY hard to stay on plan. My daughters birthday was this week and I indulged in a few cupcakes and an ice cream sundae. UGH. WI for me is on Thursday morning, so hopefully I can stay on plan until then. I've already used up all my weekly points for this week and then some. BAD GIRL!

Anyways, I hope you don't mind me joining your weekly chats...Looking forward to getting to know you all better :-)

Hey guys. My WI was yesterday. I am down another 2.2, so that knocked off my gain of .8 last week. Bringing my total to 27.

This weeks meeting was sorta sad because of our leader being forced to leave the Monday meeting. I actually called in a formal complaint to the WW customer service number. Because I think the new policy is stupid. I wrote my leader a thank you card, bc I doubt I'll be able to attend her other meetings. So needless to say, a lot of us were crying.

I just made a pot of soup that comes to 2p+ (or 1p+ if you don't count vegis, but the stupid Recipe Builder counts vegis). It came out pretty good, so I'm planning on having a cup of that with dinner each night. It's the Skinny Taste blog's version of Cream of Zucchini soup. Except I added 1/2c of white wine and a lil ground red pepper.

So fr I have no plans for the Memorial Day weekend. The past two weekends have been super busy with going outta town for both with my fiance's band. So this weekend I just wanna stay home, lay low and kick it with my monsters (two giant dogs).

Well, my WI was tonight. I gained .1 pound. And, believe it or not...I'm actually pleased with that.

That probably sounds strange, but after all the indulging I did over the past week (especially Friday night, holy crap) I'm actually surprised I didn't gain a lot more.

So, it's right back on track for me tomorrow morning. I didn't reach my goal of losing 31 pounds by my 31st birthday, but I know I'll hit it soon.

I also got my 16-week charm at my meeting tonight! It's really cute, and I love getting new stuff for my keyring. *L*

My WW keychain broke. Anyone heard of them selling a replacement one? The little screw came out and the spring flew across the car, to be lost forever. So now I have the two halves. Was thinking of just putting it all on a regular keychain. But then I would be missing the 10% part. I'm a nerd, but stuff like that would annoy me.

I hear you can get a new one at your meeting place if you ask for one. I think they break easily cause i have heard of this problem before, hopefully they know about it too and they dont kick up a fuss.

Hi all! Missed catching up with you ladies, but life happens sometimes. It has been a great few weeks weight loss wise. Down 3.6 this week bringing my total to 39.2 lbs in 14 weeks. I am so glad to have found WW and all the wonderful support here are 3FC. Off to take my youngest to preschool for the last time and turn into a blubbering mess because kids grow up too fast. Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!

Well today was my weigh in and I was down 2.3 pounds!! :-) Looking forward to today as well because my new scale is being delivered today. I have been using a WW scale that I bought a few years ago, but I've found that it tends to be terribly inconsistant. The weight changes almost everytime you step on it...especially for my dh who is over 300lbs. So I ordered a new scale from Eatsmart that had a ton of good ratings on Amazon.

It will be so nice to have an accurate weight! :-)

Have a nice day everyone!
