Default Hubby and I are both back on WW!

So my hubby and I decided to get back on Weight Watchers. Need to do it together to support each other.
Anyway, we know how to do it with momentum plan, but decided to purchase a calculator and starter package.
I just figured out our daily points for the day. He is allowed a ton of points for the day! Yes, he is a big and tall man - but I just don't understand how he could be allowed 71 daily points! I am just baffled!!!!!!

He is going to KILL me for this but he is 42 years old, weight 378 lbs, and is 6' 4"!

71 points?! Good god! How big / tall is he?! I'm 5'5" and 279. I'm at 41 points per day and I thought THAT was high!

My DH isn't following WW but he's supporting me 100%. He wants to lose 40 pounds for himself, so my commitment to this helps him I buy only healthy foods and he eats whatever is on the menu for the night. We plan our weekly meals in advance and he actually does most of the cooking because I get home so late. He's awesome. :-)

71 points?! Holy crap, that's more than two days' worth of points for me! But I guess it all goes by the weight you are when you start, so everyone's different.

Sometimes I find it hard to eat enough to get to my daily points, I can't imagine how much I'd have to eat to get to 71!

But your daily points allowance is based on how much you'd need to eat in order to stay healthy, so I'm sure 71 is where your husband needs to be.

Congrats on getting back on the program!

My boyfriend is wanting to lose a little, like 20 at the most. He actually doesnt need to lose any, but he wants to eat well with me, so i help him choose stuff to eat, he has his nachos now and then, but i let him have those to keep the peace! :P

Ha! Now I can understand why my bf is not happy with his 32 points (old plan, different story I guess). I better not mention 71 points to him :-) He could do it even on our plan. :-)
It is not fair that guys get more points than we do though!! ;-) That's life I guess.
