Drinking ???

  • So ladies, I'm curious about ur diet cocktails. I know many of you probably don't drink at all while doing WW. But every now and then I like to have a few adult beverages.

    So what's the best 'WW friendly' cocktail? Tonight I had a few Bacardi and soda-waters instead if my usual Bacardi and cokes. It was okay, but not great. Any suggestions? Thanks!
  • On the iphone app, there is a "cocktail cheat sheet" that has point values for all kinds of cocktails. Some were only 1 or 2 points. I drink so rarely that I think I will just all but give it up for now, but you can definitely fit a few drinks into your points budget.
  • Vodka with sparkling water and maybe some lemon juice or frozen berries <3
    But even though I stay within my weeklies I never loose weight, when I drink......
  • Drinking hampers my weight loss also.

    A low cal cocktail is flavored vodka (I like pear absolute or black cherry smirnoff) with some fresh mint and lime juice topped with soda water. I enter it in my counter as vodka and the points depend on how many oz of vodka you put in.
  • since I usually only drink wine I could not tell you about any other stuff but drinking does interfere with my weight loss too...darn it
  • Ahem... I drink a LOT, pretty much every week and I've noticed almost all of my WPA goes to beer (I'm trying to change that.) I drink a whole glass of water after every drink- I found this helps me to drink slowly as well! I think the water in between is what helps me to still lose weight in spite of all the beer.

    OP- I personally like vanilla vodka with diet dark soda.
  • I drink Captain and diet every Saturday night with friends and count my weeklies towards it. Have to enjoy life too!!
