
I am at 283 as of yesterday down from 290-my highest weight. I suffered from the "flu-like symptoms" that I was warned about, as I went cold turkey from eating too many starches and sweets, so starving the yeast population in my body made me sick! I am feeling MUCH better though. I am going back to weight training tonite and expect to be down 2 sizes by March or April.
BTW my diet is similar to the DASH diet for hypertension, which also is good for type 2 diabetics.
Congatulations to everyone, including the ones who stuck to their plan but did not see a loss this week. If you are not doing some light weight training and you can do it (I start at 3 or 4 lbs and move to 8 or 9) add in a ten minute routine and you'll see inches fall off your body!
