Thin4Life - Thanksgiving Week Nov. 25

  • Good morning everyone!

Another dismal day here in PA. It's cloudy and drizzling--perfect weather for curling up with a good book!

The weekend was productive in getting things together for Thanksgiving and so I won't have to battle the stores later this week to get stuff other than milk.

I had a rough weekend eating wise and didn't get hardly any water in and I can feel it in my hands this morning. I'm working on the water today though.

    How's everyone else doing?
  • Hi Melissa,

Sounds like a seattle kind of day. I hope it gets better for you.
We had our T'giving on Saturday. Suffice it to say, we gave most of the leftovers away but I have a carcass to deal with now. The rest of the stuff is either going in the freezer or in the garbage.

I saw some friends I hadn't seen in a while this weekend. Wow - a couple went on a special hospital program and have lost a significant amount of weight. I'm checking in with my insurance now to see if I can get my WW dues paid and I want to see a nutritionist.

Anyways, I'm pooped and I'm happy to have seen my friends and glad they are home.

I'm leaving early Wednesday am for SD and then on Friday for Brussels. I have to pack tonight. It seems that I just unpacked last week.

    Yikes.

Anybody making a point friendly dessert? If so, please share.

  • Hi, everyone. I don't know if I'm hibernating or what, but I have been so hungry and I've been eating way more than usual. It must be Thanksgiving on the brain!! DH and I will be going to some friends for T-Day, so we probably won't have any leftovers (probably good). It will be chilly here--65 degrees during the day and 40's at night (brrr!). That's cold in Florida.

I plan to go Christmas shopping the day after Thanksgiving as I usually do every year. I enjoy it (I know, sick woman). Actually, I started early, so my list is not nearly as long.

Lala--you go to such interesting places--Brussels sounds great. I'm saving my money for a trip in Germany in 2004!

Have a Happy Thanksgiving and blessings to you and yours.
  • Hi everyone,

Happy belated Thanksgiving. I had a very, very very nice one with the parents and all the surprise guests. It was the most fun year in a long time.

I'm waiting to board my flight to London. I realized I could have dragged Myra and Laurel to JFK with me as the club is before security. Next time ladies, we'll have a small reunion.

Anyways, I hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend. I'm ready to take a couple of tylenol, eat an express dinner and hit the sack.

I'll talk to you guys soon. Domina- I hope you weren't in the 5 am crowds!
