Default Weight Change from Morning to Night

How much does your weight change from morning to night? I usually weigh in on Saturday mornings, but went to a night meeting today to get information on the new plan, and had a huge gain. Is this normal?

that is fairly normal,
when we sleep, we burn calories and our food from the night before has time to digest. When you wake up your weight will be different because your stomache is usually empty oppose to at night when you've had liquids, food, etc.

It's definately normal, especially if you ate or drank right before. Step on the scale in the morning and you'll see the difference =D

I have often weighed myself both morning and night in the same day-WOW. I usually see a 2-3 lb higher measure at night. I agree that this is due to undigested food. I stick to weighing myself first thing in the morning!

Speaking of, I am new around here and I was curious-I like weighing myself everyday to stay on top of a new gain and it helps keep me accountable. Do any of you like weighing daily as well or do you prefer weekly?

I tend to weigh myself daily out of habit and my mother says I'm obsessed and has threatened to throw my scale out. However, my scale at home showed me at 160 this morning and the scale at my weigh in tonight showed me at 162, however..all I ate today was a piece of toast and fruit this morning lol. My scales the devil

I step on my scale every morning, I know it's a horrible habit to get into but if I see a gain it doesn't bother me like it used to. It makes me want to work harder if anything but I like to keep track of my weight daily, I found that it keeps me in check!

Weighing weekly helps keep my sanity. However, sometimes I cannot resist temptation and weigh myself during the week.

I've tried both in the past, and after one day of indulgence, I do get slightly discouraged when weighing daily but take control immediately. When weighing weekly, I feel like I have wasted a week if I find I have no drop or plateau. But, I do think it would be more rewarding if I saw larger drops at once when weighing weekly.

Overall, I think it is best for me to weigh daily because I think I would go crazy wondering otherwise or fall off my journey because I can keep control daily. I was quite happy with only a .2 increase after Thanksgiving day and have 1.5 lbs since then! Although, I do know many people who cannot stand weighing everyday.

I weigh myself every morning wearing the clothes that I wear to weigh in at meetings (yes, I wear the same thing every week except changing to longer pants during winter. To see how weight varies during the week is actually helpful so if I see a gain on weigh in day but I know I've been doing well it doesn't craze me like it used to.

I typically weigh about 3 lbs more at night than first thing in the a.m. A 16 bottle of water weighs a pound so I bet it's water and the food you ate.

1-2 lbs at night, and more if I'm constipated!
So I get excited when my night weight has become lower, and look forward to weighing in the morning
