  • ya know derry..I never realized this but we both live in new england lol.
    I'm in MA in Cambridge.
So I think I'm the only one who knows what legal seafood is
  • Hey guys! Only a few more days!

    CANT WAIT!
I think the new program is just what I need.
  • This morning I went to my weigh in and my leader made coffee and told me if I wanted some to just go in the stock room and grab a cup. I don't think I was supposed to see this but all the new material and books were right there in front of me and the new pocket guide says 'Pro Points' on the cover. I didn't want to look through it because I knew I would have felt terrible after for sneaking a peak. I'm pretty sure this is the same plan they have in England.
  • I totally would have looked. haha.

I wonder how they're going to do SmartOnes?

I know! I really wanted too but I was so scared I was going to get caught!
  • I thought it was supposed to be called Plus Points in the Americas?

The UK has already started the new program yes and by what I've read, it is called ProPoints.
  • I'm actually really excited for the new plan! The suspense is killing me! haha
  • I'm super anxious. Even the leaders say its fabulous and it works great.
  • *pout*

Why couldn't they launch this on a Saturday .
Happy Friday all, and have a fantastic weekend!
  • So, at least two people know Legal Seafood, so I am not alone! I know I can get broiled or grilled fish and a healthy salad at least. It will be hard getting the new program (wish I could have it today!) and then heading right from that meeting for a lunch but we have to live our program and what better way to try it out than finding out how in a restaurant?
I eat out very frequently and have survived it. I'm probably dining out at least 3 times a week, maybe more if we are busy. I've learned what works at certain restaurants. I call one of my survival tips "ordering plain" as it's the unknown sauces and added oils/butters that can make or break you.
I feel pretty positive that fruits are going to be zero points now, from what I hear. I also here that carbs are going to be much higher, those 100 calorie packs we all enjoy for their portability and portion control might go from 2 points to 4 points, how willing will we all be to have those if they go that high?
I hear we might get less points per day but more flex points?
It's all rumor until we get the plan.
If anyone hits a meeting before the rest of us do, please share a few things as best you can.
Also, Kimberly, I'd have done the same. One quick peek and you would have felt guilty. Boy, I wish I had a leader that offered me coffee! By the way, I'll bet our meetings are unbelievably crowded this week. The word about the new program is out there and people will be dying to get hold of it, I think.
I do want to say that there are those who show up at WW, pay for one meeting and buy the program and we never see them again. There are those who, like me, need that weekly weigh in and the other aspects of a meeting to keep my motivation going. Those "stop in" people will be there, for sure. But, also, right after New Year's.
  • new plan
I am from Kingston Ontario Canada Our new program starts in a week. They told us to by the new calculator This week coming at $10. And to come to the meeting early on the 7 because there is a lot of info to take in.
There is also a new book like you get when you join but they did not say whether we will get that free. And rumor had it 0 point fruits. I am loving that idea. I agree I have been on several plans with ww and found them all easy to follow and they are always successful.
  • Derry, I am one of those who come long enough to get all the materials I need/want and then leave to do it on my own whenever I feel like cutting off the monthly pass.

Sometimes the meetings are great, but sometimes they are too infected with "Debbie Downer"s, if you know what I mean .

I think I'll be showing up to an Afternoon meeting on Monday here in the States. I could use something new as the past two months have been Blah and I've been slipping back into bad habits, so unless someone beats me to it, I'll post a bit of what I hear.
