Default frustrated hoping WW canhelp

I'm completely frustrated. My dr told me to try SBD which I haven't followed but have been doing low carb. Which I can't stand doing. I love fruit and it's good for you so why should I not eat it. I have lost around 9-10 lb depending on the day. I have noticed that my body doesn't like me eating all the cheese that I have been.
I'm going to be going to WW hoping that it will help me. I need a lifestyle change that I can live with. I don't miss breads but would like to have the option of eating them if I choose too. Is it better to go to meetings or is it feasible to do it on your own at home?

Try it!
This is my first time on a diet and if I can do it, anyone can...trust me.
You can always check out the meeting free of charge...
I go to the meetings and that seems to be working for me, but it depends on your personality. I have a code that came with my ww magazine for a free one week trial, if you would like it it's yours.

All the best, you can do it, believe in yourself.

A few years ago, my doctor suggested SBD to me as well. I did it for two months, lost 50 lbs, and then promptly went off plan and gained it all back plus some. For ME, it wasn't sustainable. I need the flexibility of WW, which allows me to focus on healthy eating without putting anything off limits.

I would suggest going to at least one meeting. You get the setup materials, have the program explained to you, etc. and get a feel for the meetings to see if it's something you would benefit from. I enjoy the meetings and have missed only a handful since beginning just over a year ago. But others on here do it entirely on their own or online and it works for them. You just have to find out what works for you.

Good luck! Whatever you choose, you can do it!

Thanks everyone. I think I will try a meeting to see how I like it. I definitley need flexibility with my eating. I hate the thought of food being off limit forever. I know that it wouldn't be a sustainable diet for me. WW I think will be perfect for me. Now to find a sitter so that I can go to a meeting

Does everyone use a scale or jsut judge by size?
Is the point calculator a good thing to have?
