I wear jeans and don't take off my sneakers, though I don't think I've seen any of the others in my meeting not taking off their shoes,

. It really doesn't matter to me since I seem to be never in anything else, so since the clothes are the same-ish each time, I can focus on a downward trend or any patterns without thinking about the scale number or my clothing too strongly.
I do an evening meeting as well. It's like this, you've got to eat and drink your water the same as you would any other day, it's just a point each week that shows you whether or not there is a downward trend and gives you a little data to work with to tweak your plan if there isn't. Back that up with say, exercise improvements and measurements, and you've got a better idea of how things are going.
