Default At a loss... Question about cycling points..

I have been hovering around 222-219 for the past 3 weeks and i am so close to throwing in the towel....i drink my water, i exercise as much as i can(heart condition) i eat breakfast, snack, lunch, snack and dinner...i eat my daily fruits, veggies, dairy and proteins and i am still not losing the weight.

I am interested in cycling points but im at a loss on how to do it...i figure it cant hurt anymore especially when im about to throw in the towel..iv been on plan for 10 weeks now.

Is there a specific schedule to follow or do you just vary it?, i get 28 points a day

I'm sorry that no one has answered you. I'm no expert and struggling just the same, but I will give you my opinion, k? I found that the points that WW set for me is too high. When I put what I'm eating in fitday, I've stayed with the points for WW but my calories are about 1850...before the 35 extra weekly points and not counting veggie cals that count as calories but not points. That seems too high for someone trying to lose weight. So, I dropped my points, started counting veggie cals (so yes, I count calories and points during my experimental stage 'cuz hubby does WW with me) and found it helped me lose better. Now, I fell off the wagon and am back at it to do it again so I'll keep you posted. I didn't drastically cut my points but kept my calories at 1400 ish before veggies (and I counted those at the end). Keep in mind that a point is roughly 57 calories. Don't throw in the towel!! I know it sucks to go so slow or not at all....believe me, I know. But...try to switch things up for a couple weeks and see if it works. Eating healthier has many benefits even if the scale isn't moving yet.
